Hi ladies
Thanks to those of you who replied about the cutting of the paper.
I don't think I explained myself properly - lol.
It's not the cutting that's the problem, it's getting the size of paper in the first place - I need to do 200 and each one measures 19.5 x 8.5 - so 12 x 12 papers aren't big enough and neither is A4.
I thought about getting some A3 artist's pads, but they're not quite the right length either
I'll reply to your PMs just shortly - thanks.
Sal
xSally - I've PM'd you. With regards to the cutting could you not do it with a guillotine, if you don't have one it would probably work out cheaper to buy one than pay for someone else to cut it.
Gemma & CraftyGranny - Thanks for advice re ribbon holders think I may have to have a play.

Hello all :j
marg - give up the ironing.......I did years ago unless its something that I daren't wear unless I get that dreaded metal thing out of the cupboard -doesn't happen often.
Opticians is good idea.............don;t know if you wear specs but if you dont maybe thats the problem...........if you do, maybe that need updating or might just be fitting a bit loose.
When I was in Worthing I had a spate of what seemed like double vision -popped in nearest opticians and he checked my specs (even cleaned them for me bless him) quick look at my eyes and said they could just be tired.........was a very bright day and we'd just been in a discount shop with bright lights and bright colours......don't think that helped. Kept in the shade for few hours and was ok after that.
My word I have waffled..................sorry 'bout that.........:rotfl:
Still on the 'eyes' though............I find I can't see well enough to do really fiddly things and if I do anything that's involving small pieces my eyes feel like they'll fall out.........so I steer clear and just do something very basic.........good luck.
Haven't had time to check all your blogs............hope you're ok............good to see you back Rusty.....take care and hugs to those who need them (((((:o))))I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Craft creations used to do huge pieces of card and you could always email and ask them about cutting it. I know they used to cut it down to a3 and a4 and a5 but always worth asking if they can do the size you need.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Evening all
Spent the morning in the fly graveyard that used to be a conservatory and it's loads tidier now (it's attached to the back of our garage rather than the house) as no one had been in it since September.
Got my fabric stash out so made Eeyore into a cushion - he's on my blog or he's also the header picture on my new blog called Padster's secret stitching as I'm stitching a surprise for one of my friends and don't want her to see it before her birthday
weather is lovely here now just right to go back to work tomorrow - least I have Wednesday off this week so may play in the afternoon once I've been to dentist and opticians (what a waste of a day off ):rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Marg - good luck at the opticians. Fingers crossed that he'll get things sorted for you and you can be back doing the things you love.
Paddingtondoo - completely forgot about your challenge (not sure how seeing as I've spent the past week or so chuckling at all the B makes). Will try and get a card made tonight, but if not I'll have to give it miss - really sorry as it's a fab challenge.
Thrifty - the editors choice on the readers letters page in this months Papercraft Inspirations, shows ribbon and thread storage containers made out of empty pringles containers. I don't need to worry about such things atm as I've only got a few ribbons!0 -
evening all, I have just blogged my entry for the new CCW challenge
some fab makes on blogs girls :T
I just dont know where the time has gone today, we spent a few hours doing the garden about midday (yuck, I am so not an outdoor girl) and since then I planned to get so much accomplished but seem to have been faffing around instead! at least I got one card done
dont know if I mentioned it on here or not but am going to a school fete in July to hold a craft stall :j I really need to get my finger out and make some stuff now else my stall will be empty :rotfl: I am planning to do post-it holders, decorated notebooks, peg magnets, jewellery, oh and cards of course! have also got a few of those cardboard photo frames to alter that I might see if they will sell. I need a few weeks off work to make stuff though as when I get home in the evenings I never seem to have much inclination0 -
Marg, oh no, please give your eyes as much rest as you need xxx
Gemm, huge well done on agreeing to do a school fete! You will do brilliantly. I am toying with doing one in August, just not sure??? If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Gemm - didnt want you to think was being rude - but couldnt leave a message on your blog for some reason. So just wanted to say it looks lovely xx0
