ali I think it's cause I changed my blog to a 3 column layout the other day and for some reason the comment thing has stopped working
think I will change it back
ETA - ooh I think I just fixed it!0 -
Gemm You've given your blog a facelift! Very nice but nothing happens when I press "Comment". Anyway, your card is lovely, beautiful DP and I love the black lace!
Marg Hope goes well at the opticians and that you get something sorted out.
paddingtondoo Your Eeyore cushion is gorgeous!
Rusty Thanks for blogging your cards, they are lovely. Shows how much everyone thinks of you, must have made you feel special!
Sally I was going to suggest Craft Creations. Last time I looked (fairly recently) they were still cutting down the large sheets into 4 x A4 or 9 x A5 so I think that means the original size is A2. Measurements will be on their site. Your soup sounds lovely. I make a lot of soup but I can't eat sweet potato, I like it but it doesn't like me (you wouldn't want to be in the same room after I've eaten it). I tend to substitute butternut squash for sweet potato.
Choccy Thanks for mentioning the easel challenge on CCW. Perfect for me as I've just had to rescue another card where I put everything facing the spine :rotfl: , turned it into an easel card this afternoon.
Wishfulcomper What a lovely OH you have, very generous of him. At least the bus journey wont be so boring now!
ScattyJan How lovely that you think so much of your granma. Good luck with the house sale.
I think I've caught up with posts now!
We've had a cracking day, sun all day long. I've been out in the garden getting pots ready for when the new geraniums we've just sent for arrive, also planted out some geraniums where we've taken cuttings from old ones, plus dug up all the daffodil and hyacinth bulbs.
CraftyJuJu I was just about to blog my easel card and put it on the challenge at CCW and notice you've put your card into that challenge. Don't forget to put a link on your blog post to CCW as it seems to be a general part of the requirements for challenges - For this challenge people with blogs link directly to the project you are submitting and not to your general blog, please link back to our blog in your post . Hope you don't mind me pointing that out, wouldn't want your entry to be disqualified because you didn't link back. If you're not sure how to do it take a look at the other entries.0 -
Hi Everyone,
Marg - hope you get your eyes sorted, nightmare for you,
Rusty - Glad to see you back, I love the zimmer frame, I got hold of one for My grandad when he was 60 and spray painted it gold,
I have sone EZ mount somewhere, but where it is I don't know I may have to sort out the craft cupboard to see if it's in there,
Gemm, I can't seem to comment on your blog, lovely silhouette card,
Sally I think I'll have to try your soup, I love home made soup,
DragonLew I am following your other blog,
Mind has now gone blank, I;m shattered and have a full week at work next week, my friend brought down the robo ( its a 100 series) and it needs to get a new blade, so she has ordered one for me, I was really impressed with the cutting though and the pen attachment, I can't wait to use it, and I just have to find some templates now, hopefully Saturday I can have a play
Not much crafting has gone on here, may get to do some tomorrow evening,
take care Jo xTake care Jo x0 -
Choccy - thanks for the reminder about the crafty place swaps - I've signed up this month - I'll just apologise in advance to whoever gets me - I'm averaging about one card a week at the minute!!!!
Wishfulcomper - what a thoughtful OH you have!!!!
Marg - I hope your eyes improve soon!!!!
Paddingtondoo - your cushion is lovely!!!!!
Gemm - your easel card is gorgeous - that paper's fab and the card looks so striking with the black embellishments.0 -
Thanks Choccy for the link to the Easel Challenge. I’ve just put my entry on theblog.
Wishfulnewcomer – hope your op goes well for you this week. What a great OH you have. I can't complain about mine as my OH bought me a craft robo last christmas.
Marg – sorry your eyes are playing you up. Hope you get things sorted out with the opticians tomorrow. Let us know how things go.
Great to see you back Rusty – take it easy and well done on having the energy to blog all the fabulous cards you have received. So glad they have cheered you up.
Gemm, well done on taking a stall at the school fete in July. You should have no trouble selling your things as they are always so fab.
I’ve had a very crafty weekend, another 3 cards made for the boot sale I want to do when the weather picks up, 2 cards that I have just blogged using the same image, but in different ways, and a couple of sample invites I have said I would do for my mum as she is having a lunch for her 70th at the end of the September. When she tells me which one she prefers, I’ll blog them.
I have managed to master the MS Scoreboard, and not getting the lines to slip by using a stronger bone folder than the one it came with, so there is no stopping me now, and want to have a go at making a box in the week.2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
Thank you Craftgranny and TomsMom
I'll go take a look at that site now.
I'm running out of time, only have until the end of May to make 200 and I've not even started yet!
Erm while I'm on, I wonder if anyone has a downloadable damask backing paper pattern? I'm after a brown, cream, neutral or salmon pink pattern pleeeease?
Sal

I have had so many blog problems recently it's unreal, I really shouldn't have started messing around with it in the first place :rotfl: we figured out the other day that if you unfollow and re-follow my blog you should start getting the updates againsorry to be such a pain for everyone!
ETA: to unfollow, go to my blog and where you see your pic at the top under 'followers', click options, then site settings. another window will open and on the right hand side there will be 'stop following', click this and then you can re-follow from the main page again0
