Rusty - Keep positive that the tablets will work this time and glad you haven't had to have the lumbar puncture, well today anyway.
I think a spoil them day for the children tomorrow sounds lovely. As much as they can be horrors (children that is not yours in particular) they seem to know when they need to be good.

Glad your kids behaved themselves sometimes they surprise you they can be angels when you least expect them to be.0 -

Yes so far so good Kiddies are tucked up in bed now so I know its going to be safe for a least another 12hrs :rotfl::rotfl:
:TWell done kiddies for being good for mummy :T defo a treat day tomo, thats what we're having as they have both been really good for me while I've been clearing....craft day here we come, might let them bake a cake too
Dragonllew - Sorry to hear about your pain too....what we all like with our back/hip/leg problems!?! I have a slip disc in my lower back which causes me (well Doc thinks so) all the pain I get in my hip & back, I've had artherites (not sure on spelling!) since I was 2 in my knees which has gradually worked its way up! I find resting is good but if I sit for too long I sieze up & turn into a 90yr old! :rotfl:I think I may be like that tonight!
I got sp when I was pregnant but lucky for me stayed away after having both kiddies, its so good I've had one of each don't think my back could cope with being pregnant again!
Get yourself plenty of rest xx:wave:Hi, I have a passion for crafting.......I'm always up to something :rotfl::rotfl:
:j I have found the key to weight loss.....ZUMBA :j0 -

RustyFlange wrote: »Jazabelle - you are not alone with missing parcels! It annoys me and I would love someone to just come and start up a company to wipe the smug smile off royal mail!! Yup BIH is benign intercranial hypertension, I was diagnosed after I had DS 7 years ago, first lumbar puncture when he was 17 days old  .... apparently it is cause I am fat  but then they seem to blame that on everything! I give up with it all, last lumbar puncture was jan 2007 when I was pregnant with DD  that was horrible
Haha, yeah, that would be good. I usually have no problems, which is why this is very surprising.
Aw, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope the medication works. I would do anything to avoid a lumbar puncuture too.
Doctors love to blame everything on weight. I have a chronic pain condition and they always tell me to lose weight, as if that's the reason I'm in pain. I point out the reason I'm now big is that I've been in constant pain for seven years and have been unable to exercise, tend to comfort eat and so yes, have put on weight in those seven years. But they don't want to know, they just want to blame everything on the weight."There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -

Rusty - What a long time to be at the hospital, especially with children. Hope the tablets work, to save you the dreaded lumbar puncture. Thank you for the text. I've still got the ironing to do, may go & do some in a bit TV looks dire!
Thrifty - So sorry things aren't getting any better for your son, wish I could offer some useful help & advice but am at a loss (shruggy shoulder icon thingy here!).
Wishfulcomper - What is you blog address please?
I hardly like to say as some of you have had a carp day but apart from going to work, today has been better than Christmas Day for me!:j:jThe postie brought me some really lovely things. I will blog later with pics - in the meantime....
Thank you Dragonllew for the pretty butterflies and card, I'm sorry you are not well and hope you get well very soon though I think sciatica can take a while to get over.
Thank you rainmac for the gorgeous card and great images - hope my colouring will do them justice. Hope you enjoy the rest of your boys Easter holiday and find a bit of time for you.
Padster - Thank you for sending me lovely papers - I really didn't want anything in return but I do appreciate you sending them with the card I had been so admiring on your blog the other day!
And last but by no means least OAP Thank you very much for such a wonderful prize. Ladies, there was a lovely decorated box containing beautiful papers, charms, ribbon bows, brads, and card blanks all matching! An absolute treasure trove of goodies. Thank you so much.
:A:A:A:A You are all so kind and generous,Thank you.
I count myself very lucky to have such wonderful friends and now I'd best go before I cry tears of sheer joy.0 -
Sorry wasn't being iggirant earlier - blimey Rusty you may as well just get the lorry to stop off on it's way to the pharmacy and drop stuff off!
I wish my DD would behave when I took her places - she spends most of the time in the opticians asking questions and I hate having her the room when I'm at the dentist as she does it there too and I sit down and glue my eyes shut so I don't see all the nasty stuff :rotfl::rotfl:
Have posted one new card today and just about to do another one if Bu**er will behave itself tonight
You're very welcome Marg - am trying to send stuff out as well as get stuff in to make way for the 250 sheets of 12x12 paper that have arrived this week so far :eekOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

My Doctor hasn't said that yet but my mum is always saying it to me & like your Doctor she doesnt understand me when I say I can't excercise too much before I'm in pain. I find I comfort eat when I'm feeling low from the pain glad its not just me x:wave:Hi, I have a passion for crafting.......I'm always up to something :rotfl::rotfl:
