Oh my goodness, so many of you with pain today. Healing hugs for all of you and I hope you all get some relief soon.

Well, our sunny day continued and as we get the sun all day it got quite warm in the garden. I spent time doing some potting on and tidying up. Poor OH has to avoid the sun now - apparently chemotherapy and one of the drugs he has had changes the body's make up and you are more at risk of other cancers, particularly skin cancer, so he has to use sun block if he goes out and has to cover up. We've got to find him a hat which will shade his face, neck and ears, a baseball cap is not good enough. What a bu mmer, looks like holidays in the sun will be out in the future! But it's a small price to pay if the treatment keeps his condition in remission.

Actually, I think someone has stolen my OH and given me a new model . He's actually doing jobs without being reminded they need doing   :D. The carpet tiles for the loft bedroom arrived this morning so he's started laying those this afternoon. We can't get a normal carpet up the dog-leg staircase to the loft, the ceiling height is also restricted on the stairs, so carpet tiles was the only way. They're looking good though!

I can't get at my craft desk while he's doing the flooring :( so I've printed off some digi images and have been colouring with my PMs. I've printed off some papers too. If I can get back to my desk within the next couple of days I might have time to make a couple of cards and enter them in a couple more challenges.

Right, that's me done, I'm off on a blog hop.
  • The petite scalloped are really small I'm afraid :( If the seller has the classic in stock, and you're prepared to pay the difference in postage, then they should be more than happy to exchange them for you.

However, the petite ones are great for making mulberry flowers ... die cut them, and then using scissors, cut into every other petal ... they look really cute.

Evening all - I shall avoid commenting on the saga above! Shall just say - Rusty I hope you are getting a well deserved rest, so sorry to hear you are having more health problems.

Also to Dragonllew - hope you get some relief somehow - if I say again how awesome your card is will that help??

I've just had a friend from work round discussing her wedding invitations (next year thank goodness!), but she wants save the date cards that can go on fridges, so I'm hoping some lovely ladies from here will be able to point me int he direction of the best place for wee magnets? Ta lovelies!

I only acted as mediator because someone else from this forum directed me here. I still don't think public slaughterings of a company are justified, in fact, it really saddens me.

If the company concerned posted here, then fair comment, but knowing that a company doesn't, and are unaware of problems and that they need to defend themselves, doesn't make it right in my book.

All Rusty posted to say was that she placed an order with Sarah's cards for the £25 goody bag worth £75 and that she had not received it despite several emails and phone calls...

Personally as I received my goody bag a few weeks ago and Rusty knows that a few of us on here did receive theirs that she has every right to vent to her friends that her hard earned money that she has spent on goodies has not been delivered

Sorry but you are doing Sarah no good whatsoever posting on here, your posts have already made me think twice about ordering from there again

The petite scallop circles large are the ones I use all the time - think it's just the actual scallops that are smaller - the biggest die is 4 inches across.

The ones I've used on my relax card on my blog is the second smallest one HTH
Here's the sizes for the small petite ones largest is 3 3/4
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
  • As I say Mad-Frog - we are all entitled to our opinions, and I'd be a lousy friend if I didn't defend my own - just like you are all doing :)

Think this is where I apologise for snipping you but I'm not sure.

What you are looking for is something called a Sahara hat/cap. It is basically a baseball cap but with the material down the back that covers the ears and neck. They are brilliant. I get them for DS who is 7 but has to wear adult hats. OH's family all have big heads and don't I know it!!

Well, after reading the above I am so glad I didn't order the goody bag myself!!

Glittermum I bought my magnets from ebay, Rainmac may have the seller bookmarked. The ones I bought are the ones I used on the bunny fridge magnets. I will have a look and see if I can find it.
