Jazabelle I have recently visited areas of the country unfamiliar to me and googled on the internet before hand for craft stores in the area I was going to visit.
I was successful doing that and also looking at adverts in craft magazines... hope that helps, unfortunately I don't know any shops in Somerset - one mentioned in a mag at hand is in Taunton called sjlcardcraft don't know what it like though??

Afternoon ladies, sorry not been on, have been mega busy visiting OH's family and trying to spend as much time as a family as possible!! OH arrived in aberdeen at 2am this morning so I was up til gone then worrying even though he was on the phone! DS has gone to his dads for a week and I had to meet my ex for coffee to meet his new GF which he has moved in with, think she felt so awkward which you can't really blame her for! then I took DD to Hobbycraft to see if I could get any of the bargains that the lady over at day in the life of a craft fairy got, I managed to get a MS punch, 2 x spring matt stacks, 1 x spring glittery stacks, spring sticker stack, and the matching chipboard embellies! Also managed to pick up quite a few other bits and pieces which I was quite chuffed with just a shame they never had any of the 12x12's. None of them were marked up cheap on the shelves but did go through the till cheaper!

I spent yesterday playing around with my robo :j I am chuffed cause I can finally do things with it now the mat has been restickied!! ... I made my own bunting for DD which I need to cover and embellish! OH will think I have lost the plot!!

Another non related question, anyone know where I can get really cheap material from? I only need 1 metre but it has to be quite manly or plain!

Off to catch up on blogs and will hopefully be around a bit more over the next few days!

I am ment to be doing 2 cards for the weekend. 1 for my ds1 who will be 5 and 1 for my hubby who's bday it is the day after. He always complains that his bday is always side lined for ds1's so i will have to make him a nice gluten free cake as i haven't got him much in the way of presents. I need to think of something i can make.
I have been trying to photoshop some balloons on an image but it just isn't doing what i want it to do so instead i have created a fan page on facebook for my nappy cakes and blogged a few bits.
Do you still do the alter challenge on CP? I think the last one was nov/dec. It's just i have a alter project on my blog i could enter.
I am hoping to go to one of my fav craft shops tomorrow if hubby will take me as it is in the city and i am hopeless at directions and would most likely get lost if i tried to go on my own. They keep changing road layouts which doesn't help me. I am affraid i am a typical girl and let the side down when it comes to driving. I can only go where i know.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

Thankyou lovely lady! I have sent you an email :) so please check ;) Looks like it was my mat which was causing me so many problems as now it has been sprayed it is perfect!! although I cut so many things yesterday I need to re sticky it again! but my blade isn't damaged like I thought which means my freeby blade from the NEC is now a spare for when I wear the other one out! :)

No materials on the market, there is a place further in the town but the material there is expensive, I want to make OH a camera bean bag, he has said he wanted one of these but they are £30  so I picked up the balls today for £3 and know I can get 1 metre of material for a few quid then it is just my time making him one but he will love it if I can, he also wants me to make a waterproof cover for him to use on his lens so he can still be out and about in the rain! thing is, if I can do it succesfully then his dad will want one of each aswell! :rotfl: still worth it to save the money!

Rainmac beautiful card, I managed to miss it!!

Those who have given me money for the stamps, I am posting them tomorrow, but there are still some for sale if anyone is interested then please PM me and I will update the list :)

Also hoping to get some time to sort out some of the boxes of stash so may well have some Raks, but this is dependant on ifd I can sort things out!

I haven't done one this year, but I know I really should, I struggle for ideas to keep it going continuously! Please though if you have an idea then PM me and I can start one up again! :) might spur me on to get more done!

I've had a lovely day - been to Mums for lunch, saw my Brother & SIL and then went for a nice long walk along the beach. Praying this glorious weather holds out for the a few days.

I've been blog hopping and left comments, but just have to say that there are some fantastic makes.

Lei - I love your gumball machine, it's really clever - you must have the patience of a saint to stick all those gems on!

Marg - I love your Easter cards, the images and colours are gorgeous.

    Tomsmum - Stunning anniversary card

Rainmac - lovely x-stitch and cards.

    Ali-b
    -have a good break

Sorry if I've forgotton anyone, typing from memory.
