Please can someone help me before I scream  I'm trying to print some images that Carmin kindly posted but I have no idea where to start to print or re-size etc, I have my colouring pencils at the ready! I have tried right clicking and saving to my desktop but it doesn't appear to work for me.
Rainmac - That's a very pretty card you have made.
Pointofnoreturn Yours flowers are very lovely.0 -
Jazabelle Not sure if these would be any good for you, but Create and Craft have 100 240gsm A6 in cream 161685 or 100 white 161687 for £4.99 each with free p&p which I don't think is too bad considering the price postage normally costs from them.. I have sent off for some, they have 14x14 cms but you have to pay p&pfor those unfortunately...Self imposed crafty stash ban: started again 22/8/10 1 whole month stash free!
I must not buy stash, I must not buy stash, I must not buy stash!0 -
Right, back again - I'm trying to multi-task here!!!!!!!!
A few pages back I was saying how I was having trouble colouring in digi images as I only have water colours. Now, I apologise most profusely as I can't find the posts again but some of you lovely ladies gave me advice, tips and things to try. I was amazed that printing in draft still have a good enough image so after printing I ironed to heat set the ink. It worked a lot better and if I was careful there was no smudging of the ink. However I noticed that some images just didn't look right water coloured but that could just be my carp colouring :rotfl: .
I also looked at Mel's blog and the Promarker tutorial which someone pointed me to, thanks again those were brilliant sites (was that Wifey???, gosh I'm hopeless).
I think I must have moaned a lot because OH said why not buy a few Promarkers, say about 20. So I set off to find the best bargain. Those at about £1.50 each usually had p+p and Joanna Sheen with free p+p were £1.69 each, I had to work out what I wanted and which was the best buy.
Took me a while to decide which to buy but I took advice from the PM tut and other suggestions and hopefully chose colours I will find useful.
The point of this is that I managed to find a site doing a bulk buy - 25 PMs for £34.99 with no postage and you get to choose the colours. That works out at £1.40 per PM which I thought was good, here's where you can get them. She has a sale on, ends today, and is doing Nesties for £15.99 if that's any use to anyone, I don't think the free postage applies to everything, it's normally £3.
I was short by about 4 colours that I wanted so got those from Joanna Sheen along with a Memento ink pad.
During my shopping travels on the 'net I came across Martha Stewart edge punches for £11.95 here (JS id £15.99), not the full range but I bought a couple. They have Nesties at 2 got £30. Postage is £1.95 so not too bad, or free over £35.
Hope those links help somebody, although you probably wont thank me for tempting you to spend after the NEC etc.0 -
Jazabelle - sorry to hear you've not been well, hope things are better now. I tend to buy some white basic card stock from the local printer, just give him a sample of what I want and he finds something to match. I then cut to whatever size I want but you need to then buy the envelopes. I've also bought the boxes of 50 from The Works when they're on offer, usually 2 boxes for £8 or something.
Thank you! I have an on-going condition that is particularly bad at times, so I won't get better, but find some days better than others. I find it hard to get out the house, so was hoping to order some, although the post seems to be very slow at the moment. I might just have to give in and pop into The Range at some point!Jazabelle Not sure if these would be any good for you, but Create and Craft have 100 240gsm A6 in cream 161685 or 100 white 161687 for £4.99 each with free p&p which I don't think is too bad considering the price postage normally costs from them.. Aw, thanks! Will go and have a look.
I've just bought a load of A5 papers, so am particularly looking for A5 size, but they might have some of those too."There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -

Craftgirl 1960 - Go back to photobucket - choose edit from the top of the picture you want - it opens a new screen - from there save it to your own photbucket account - then download to to your own pc. From there you should be able to open it in paint and resize & print. It worked for me like that, hope it does for you. - Credit PONR for giving me the clue.

Flourgirl & rainmac - cute little tutorial how to use SU treatcups on this lady's blog today. Credit to The Wife who directed me to her blog.
Marg Thankyou for the link. I have become a follower of her blog and guess what...... she does classes quite close to where I live :j OMG I don't know if I dare go to one, SU stuff is quite expensive and I know I would want it all !!!! I'm hoping the small circle nestie will be the right size for making the holes for the little cups.0 -
