I need some more dies now, but the craft superstore locked my card yesterday, and so I can only pay through paypal til I'm well enough to go to a cash machine and unlock it. Grrr!
Anyone know of anywhere that sells dies, accepts paypal and has next day delivery? Hee hee.
That magazine gift looks brilliant, I want to suscribe to something. Is Crafts Beautiful the best one?
Popkins, hugs
This site is brill for all dies and embossing folders always seem to be the cheapest for anything I've looked for and free postage delivery is really quick to most times I had the stuff I've ordered within 2 days and they take paypal:D:D0 -
Oooohh thank you!
I've only got circles at the moment, and I can't think of anything to make with die cut circles, lol. They are very small! So I can't wait to get some more.
OH is definitely in the good books for buying it, I can't believe how fun it is!
I still wish I'd been well enough to come to the NEC, thoughSignature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Afternoon ladies, hope you are all well (((hugs)) ) to those who need them and are feeling better soon.
dragonllew - congrats on your win!!
I have caught up with the last few pages and left comments on blogs - finding it hard to keep up at the mo. my head is full of rubbish!! (sorry) xx0 -
Frogeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
In all my thirty nine +++++++++++++++++ years on this mortal coil I've never ever met anyone with the same birthday as me until two years ago when talking to a fellow Red Hatter and then this year I met another. And now! You too! Brilliant! I now have birthdays quads, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Oh no Popkins sorry to hear that your not very well but fingers crossed you get better soon so can play with all your new stash from the NEC x0

I've been really good today - caught up with my ironing, cleaned and mopped the bathroom and even dusted the bedrooms. Did it all this morning so I could have a craft afternoon.
So........ I printed off some dig images and took them upstairs to colour. I use water colours with a not very wet brush. Disaster! The ink ran.
Printed them off again then heat set with the iron as I'd read somewhere that the ink wont run if you do that. Not true. Ink ran again but not quite as much as before.
So I printed them off again and sprinkled with embossing powder and heated with my heat gun thinking that would do it. Wrong! Not enough ink for the embossing powder to stick to.
Oh b*m!!!!!!! Wasted three lots of cards now and still haven't got a decent coloured image.
HELP!!!!!!!! Is there anyone who uses digi images and doesn't use Promarkers? Please tell me how you colour them in, I'm so frustrated by this!0 -
Another quick post from me lots to do today!
Gemma & Thrifty - Glad it's not just my DH then!
CGC - So sorry to hear about FIL - I have seen with friends the damage it does it's never just the person with bi polar that suffers. (((Hugs)))
I see you've added your birthday Thank you - Just for my records can you confirm that I can disclose your address?
I note you've said not to bother sending cards 'cos you can't always make them. You aren't the first to say this, I'm in that boat too!
I don't know about others but that wasn't my motivation to 'do' an address list. Being on either list doesn't mean you have an obligation to send a card to everyone on it. I have no intention of organising a birthday card swap club! Just as in 'real' life you send a card to those you can/want to.
I just thought that a master list would make life easier if we wanted to send a card to someone and then have to appeal for their address 'cos you haven't got it and don't want to spoil the surprise by asking the person for it.
Hope that's made it clear for you all (and I haven't upset anyone by stating, as clearly as I can, how I see it) x:whistle: Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
TomsMom I have had the same problems with printing digi images. I was blog hopping yesterday and found I think it was 'pinkladymel's blog and she recommends this from Craftwork Cards.
http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/product_details.aspx?prod=872 There is another brand I think it's called 'Printit' that I'm getting fairly good results from. Try setting your printer to 'best' or 600dpi to get a good squish of ink. Hope this helps.
just a thought, have you tried printing on watercolour card? Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
