A tip I was given for the more fiddly Nestie dies like the Pendant dies was to run it through with the non-stick paper that you use for lining cake tins, it does help. It might help with the Nellie dies.
Also, when I was blog-hopping the other night another tip I picked up was using the SU oval punch and the oval scallop punch with the Craftwork Cards sentiments, I'll pop a piccie up on the blog over the weekend. It certainly gives the sentiment a little more oomph! and an extra layer as I use these two punches quite a lot. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Want to hear something really silly I've done? Last weekends challenge was to make a cake related card 'cos lots of lucky people were able to go to the NEC and those of us left behing would have a cake day. Well, I made my card and to make it look a little better I stuck the cupcake paper across the front and around half an inch at the back 'cos I'd mucked up my centremetres again. A good friend said to send it to her as she loved the idea of me cake diving, so I thought I'd write her a little note inside and guess what I had done, wrapped it over the opening side, now it's a tube card:eek: Doh! She still wants though. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

I think most brides have felt like you at sometime or another. Get on here and have a rant now and again, let off a bit of steam, we don't mind. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

Evening all
Done the food shop and had enough of doing accounts for one night otherwise I won't sleep.
Popkins - Hope you are feeling better soon, sounds horrible
Nannyboo - Sorry to hear about the stress with your mom, it is so hard to ever feel that you are doing the right thing in these situations but you also have to look after yourself. Hope you find playing with your cuttlebug relaxing
Marg - I too really appreciate you doing the list but don't in anyway expect cards it's just nice to have details without having to ask
Flourgirl - Glad to her chq arrived safely, I never trust Royal Mail (sorry if anyone works for them no offence meant)
Paddington - Can you not take some stitching with you, I can remember my mom and nan often sitting knitting or sewing wherever they went
Tiny - The stress I'm afraid seems to be part and part of getting married. As has been said though it will be worth it and you'll be very glad with all the effort you put in.
Can someone please just let me know with regards to the memento ink pads. Do most of you stamp in black and then colour in in the promarkers or do you stamp in all different colours? Where is the best place to get them from as well please?
DD slept through again last night so we are well chuffed. Only problem is I have had that many years now of disturbed sleep I seem to find myself waking up for absolutely no reason!
Off to do my shopping list from the Stampin Up catalogues mmmmmmm..........0
