Hello everyone - sorry I have no time to catch up with posts.
Just wanted to pop on and apologise to tired mom - I haven't had chance to post your package this week and am away visiting my Granny until Monday.
&son is staying with his Dad next week so I should have more time to get things done (altho have already booked in a hair appointment, 2 trips to the gym, a scrapbooking class and dinner with a friend into the 4 free evenings I have)0 -
Oops forgot to mention
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE0 -
A card stall is a fab idea we sold cards anywhere and everywhere to help send Alicia to the US.
The lovely ladies on here all helped and we had cards, coaster Calendars , bookmarks, Scarves, Post it note holders , bags, some of flourgirls fab chocs , a beautiful knitted doll. decorated notebooks and loads of other stuff link here to pics of the lovely goodies we had. You'll need to scroll down to find the pics as the first bit is all about alicia .
If you decide to go ahead with it pm me your address and i'll happily make some goodies up for you. Or if i can help in any way just yell .sweet_baby_cakes wrote: »hi all,

i would just like to ask all of you about an idear, i have a lot of stash from when i made cards years ago, in my village we have a lillel girl who is in need of some hydrotherapy pool treatments and we are going to have a big cake sale in the village hall for her in may bank holiday.
do you think it would be worth having a card stall too and other craft things but what to have i would be very gratefull for you thoughts.

Melissa (& anyone else with a bind-it-all?) I'm not sure if you've seen this blog but I've just spotted that she has used envelopes with a bind it all so that you can put little treasures, like tickets in it to keep. I thought it was a good idea even if you didn't do the whole thing out of envelopes you could adapt the idea. Anyway here's the link.......

Marg . I read your message out to kaitlyn and she's thrilled it reached you in one piece. Then she stood looking at me and when i asked her what was wrong she said i'm waiting for the big hug and kisses you have to give me from auntie marg lol. So she had two of each. She's skipping around the house singing now.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Evening all
Done the food shop and had enough of doing accounts for one night otherwise I won't sleep.
Popkins - Hope you are feeling better soon, sounds horrible
Nannyboo - Sorry to hear about the stress with your mom, it is so hard to ever feel that you are doing the right thing in these situations but you also have to look after yourself. Hope you find playing with your cuttlebug relaxing
Marg - I too really appreciate you doing the list but don't in anyway expect cards it's just nice to have details without having to ask
Flourgirl - Glad to her chq arrived safely, I never trust Royal Mail (sorry if anyone works for them no offence meant)
Paddington - Can you not take some stitching with you, I can remember my mom and nan often sitting knitting or sewing wherever they went
Tiny - The stress I'm afraid seems to be part and part of getting married. As has been said though it will be worth it and you'll be very glad with all the effort you put in.
Can someone please just let me know with regards to the memento ink pads. Do most of you stamp in black and then colour in in the promarkers or do you stamp in all different colours? Where is the best place to get them from as well please?
DD slept through again last night so we are well chuffed. Only problem is I have had that many years now of disturbed sleep I seem to find myself waking up for absolutely no reason!
Off to do my shopping list from the Stampin Up catalogues mmmmmmm..........
I stamp in Tuxedo Black Memento and colour with Promarkers. I only use coloured ink for inking edges of things. I bought my inkpad (the large one) from Joanna Sheen as it is free p&p.
Rusty, so sorry you've had a carp week, hope your OH is home safe for Easter xxx

Morning all
I have spent all morning sorting out my shopping list for Stampin Up and have sent it off before I can change my mind. Good job I can collect it from the class so I can sneek it in when DH not about!
Paddington, Glittermum and anyone else - Have super holidays
DTB - Don't worry about it we all seem to lead such busy lives. Enjoy your visit with your gran and enjoy your &son free time next week. As much as we love them it is nice to have us time.
Sweetbabycakes - As Craftgranny sais it really is worthwhile doing. Someone on here also had a success recently as well at a sale but I can't find the post, it was on this thread I am sure.
Rainmac - Thanks for that about the ink, I will have a look later but really must get rid of these spendy elves as they have taken residence and seem to be going mad, please please does anybody want them?
Right must get some packing done today as we are off to the caravan first thing tomorrow till Sunday night and there is nothing there. Think as long as we have waterproofs we should be ok! I also ordered a decoupage kit ages ago for a princess castle for Erin's birthday card on Tuesday and I can't find it anywhere.
Off to get lunch.
