Ladies just want to say Hi

I nip in occasionally & love what a rapour you all have with one another. I am trying to get my mojo into gear & made a card that I'd like to share. Do you tend to post pics here or do you all keep blogs ( I don't have one )
Anyway I do hope to stop by & chat more rather than read & run.

    Happy Easter to you all.

Hi Hogshead - feel free to post pics on this thread, not everyone has a blog and it's lovely to see what everyone else is doing. :)
ETA: It's lovely! Can I ask how you did the leaves? The colours are gorgeous.
Rainmac - thanks for the link to Joanna Sheen for Memento ink, that's the cheapest I've seen it anywhere so I'll have to try to remember that when I need a new one.
PONR - glad to hear you made it back okay. You'll have to take a photo of all your stash to make us jealous. ;)

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend - I think I'll be spending most of it marking! I'm off to pregnant best friend's house tonight to dye her hair for her (wish me luck!); she's got another friend coming round over the weekend to give her a free manicure and pedicure. Bless her, she's got so big so quickly and is really suffering, so she wants to try to feel glamorous. :)
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

JailhouseBabe the leaves are a big shot die. I have had it for ages & never used it until this card. I am planning to make several in different shades, & sentiments in the hope that I can get on a mojo wagon ( I have fallen off so many times )

Tomsmum did you have any word about your hubby yet?

Thanks for asking OAP. His appointment at Bristol went well on Wednesday, the driver he had (hospital transport) kept to the main roads and motorway rather than going the slightly quicker route down through Wales because of the threat of snow. He did well to get there in four hours, a bit longer coming back as they hit some rush hour traffic.

Although they insisted on this appointment in Bristol it was a bit of a waste. The CT scan and bone marrow tests done locally - the results had not been sent through to Bristol, nor his latest blood results. OH had his blood results so he could tell them. He was told his recovery, although going well, is not happening as quickly as they would like (constant drops in red cells and the need for regular blood transfusions) but TBH that's probably due to his age, if he was 20-30 years younger he would probably be recovering more quickly.

He doesn't seem to be able to put weight back on, he's 2 stone underweight, so they're doing tests to see if there's a reason.

Apart from that they're pleased with him and they say he looks well, which he does compared to how he has been. He has to go back again in 3 months time to Bristol and continue with the weekly hospital appointments locally but hoping it will go down to fortnightly soon.

I'm going to have another go with my digi images today. I'll try on water colour paper and also try with setting the printer to draft. If I still have problems OH suggests why not buy a few Promarkers - say 20 - I certainly can't buy a lot. So suggestions please from those of you with Promarkers. What colours do I need to teddies and ducks for a start?

PONR Glad you're back safely and get over your jet lag quickly. Hope you enjoy playing with your new stash.

    Welcome to the newbies :hello:.

For those going away over Easter, have a lovely time and I hope the weather is kind.

Sorry, I've forgotten the rest :o.

I'm off to have a play and try and get somewhere with these digi images. In the meantime here's a little Easter greeting for you all (have the sound on). Enjoy!
