Craftyjuju - I love your bracelets, they're fab, and what an excellent sock monkey tutorial too!

I showed it to my daughter, who has decided to go try making one, however she doesn't have a sewing machine, hope she manages without using one? I'll post a pic when she's finished it - lol - whenever that might be!

Thanks :) I started making mine by hand, just started to use the machine as it speeded up the process a little as I was wanting to make a few for Easter Presents :D Can't wait to see a pic when its done, something to keep her busy through the holls too :j x

    Hi everyone

I seem to be forever apologising for my rubbish absenteeism! (sp?) at the moment but I am sorry for not posting sooner its just I've been (am) really poorly this week - had such a lovely weekend too!! Basically was away in Brum all weekend and then on Monday woke up and felt a bit dizzy - room 'swam' when I tried to get up but quickly went away! Then on Tues morning the same thing happened but didn't go away and basically when I tried to get up out of bed I fell over! tried to stand up a 2nd time and fell over again and then again for a 3rd time! Very scarey! after that I had to hang onto the wall to walk anywhere otherwise I fell over! I was on my own so it was scarey! Phoned my mum!! Isn't that what we always do no matter how old we get LOL! don't know what I expected her to do seeing as she lives in Spain! Then phoned my hubby and he said phone the doctor! So had to call the doc out - very embarrassing! never done that before but there was no way I could get myself to the surgery! Anyway, he diagnosed Viral Labrynthitis and all I can do is rest and wait for it to pass!! hopefully withing 1-3weeks if I'm lucky! He did give me some tablets though to help with the symptoms so I can now stand up without falling over but still really dizzy and nauseous!! Its not what I need on top of the fibro cos I can't lie flat in bed otherwise everything spins but thats really bad with the back/shoulder/neck pain I have with the fibro and I had to cancel my weekly myofascial release treatment that helps with my pain

Anyway sorry for the slight rant! Friday NEC was fab - so lovely to see everyone again and some lovely new faces too!! Received some gorgeous handmade gifts from lovely ladies and will try and blog them later (can't sit at computer for too long as things 'spin'!) also bought some fabby stash and will also try to blog that too - everything was sooo exciting I wanted to buy everything - can't believe that my 'cash' ran out within about the 1st hour! :rotfl: Hadn't planned to use my card... oh well needs must!!! Was pleased to relinquish my shopping tiara to Gemma!!!! woop woop! that girl was on a mission to not go home with a penny in her purse!! :rotfl:

Thanks to Gemma for my fab 'storage' thingy from Aldi - and guess what I did forget it :rotfl: had to get my hubby to drive back to collect it!! :rotfl: thats Fibro fog for you!! Glad you're feeling better hunni but take it easy and beware paint fumes!

Then had lovely time in Brum for the weekend - the engagement party was fun - the couple LOVED the engagement towel cake I made for them - will also try and blog that later too! Was a bit of a mad night - I don't know how but due to the clocks changing hubby and I walked back to our hotel at about 5:30am!!!! Slept most of the journey home on sunday!!

Have tried to catch up but it was loads of pages and cos of the dizziness and blurred vision kind of skim read most of it - sorry!! Will try and check out blogs later!

Marg - happy for you to include my address/birthday - could I also have a copy of the final list please - thank you so much for doing it lovely lady! :D

Craftygranny - good news about Alicia!

Flourgirl - sorry the funeral was so sad - hope you're feeling better now! I am loving your bunny magnet - it has pride of place on my magnetic board in my craft room!! :)

Quick bit of advise ladies on curtains haha Been looking at these but does it mean the width is per curtain or for the pair when drawn? If you get what I mean, you can tell I haven't bought curtains before and OH is equally stumped haha!

Finally after not being able to get on here for so long I am back but I have no chance of catching up on posts so I am not even going to attempt that. Spent last night reading about 8 pages just to get a flavour of what is happening.

    Gosh I have missed everyone

Saucy Secrets – glad to see you got your Cuttlebug.

I have to admit I have been feeling sorry for myself (which is so wrong when others have genuine pain and sorrow in their lives) as I have been so fed up over the past few weeks. The burden of moving mum has fallen to me and I am still feeling 'stressed' from that; my brother couldn't even be bothered to come across for half a day to help and a fortnight on he still hasn't been to visit her - he only loves 40 mins away. Mum makes me feel guilty as I only see her on a Saturday due to work commitments and if I can't drop everything at the moment she meeds something then I am the worlds worse daughter. Then I had all the lead up to my Quality assessment on Monday and not having the spare time to concentrate on getting everything ready for that.

Then to top it all the parent who said she may be giving me notice has had to so this means my craft room isn't going to happen - not that that is the end of the world I know.

    SOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I was very naughty last night and ordered a Cuttlebug so am now waiting for it to be delivered – wished I had paid for next day delivery. Hubby got a text at work saying I had ordered it but I had been good and got the vile green one and not the pretty blue one from ebay

Flourgirl - thank you so much for the card, it's beautiful and a fab reminder of a great day out. :)
Lyndach - the width given is each curtain. I love that colour, it looks very similar to the suede effect ones I have in my bedroom - also form Argos. :)
CG - What a nightmare - why are families always so complicated?! It would seem there's very little you can do apart from worry and wait for the bad spell to pass, it must be so frustrating though. ((hugs))
Popkins - glad you had a good weekend, but how horrible to have labrynthitis on top of everything else! At least it waited until after your weekend away. I had the same condition a week before we went to Rome for DD's 18th birthday, I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to go! I hope you feel better soon x
CraftyJuJu - great makes on your blog - I really want to have a go at making jewellery now! My friend has lots of jewellery, and many broken pieces, so she's promised to have a sort out and give me anything she thinks I might be able to recycle. :)
Gemm - have fun with the painting! Is it just a touch up, or are you going for a new colour scheme? You'd love my kitchen, it's bright pink. :D I'll try to find a pic for you.
Sally and SkierGirl - hope you both have fab hols, whether home or away. :)
Charlie23 - I use Memento for stamping and promarkers for colouring, it works for me. :)
Tired Mom - I can't imagine what it would be like to never get a full night's sleep! I was very lucky with DD, she slept through from 4 days old and by 10 days was sleeping from 7 at night until 8 in the morning! She's just got out of bed now - she's still a lazy so and so. ;) Congratulations on DD sleeping through, I hope she's getting into a pattern now. :)
nannyboo - sorry to hear you've been through the mill; enjoy your new bug though, I wouldn't be without mine (and I don't think it's a 'vile' green, lol).

I managed to walk the dogs before the rain started here, and have made my card for the KISS/recipe challenge, but my friend has borrowed my camera so may have to wait a couple of days to blog it.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
