Hello :hello:, I've missed you all, sorry not been here all weekend
, been so busy and have ironing to do now so can't read back over what I've missed. I had a brilliant day on Friday with all the lovely ladies
, I've got pics to blog of the beautiful gifts I received and the fab stash I bought, will try and do that tomorrow. The weekend had been a bit of a blur of children, sweets and endless trips to the loo with girls at the cinema yesterday :rotfl:. Toboganning today was brilliiant, I loved it even more than the boys
I'd love to do it without the kiddies to be honest
We spent a hideous amount in the Lego shop but most of it wasn't our money so not too bad. My house looks like a toy shop with all the pressies Jack received and things that have been bought today. I guess he's only 6 once
Got a busy week this coming week, not sure when I will be able to get my new stash out for a play
Hope everyone's ok, apologies for not catching up with posts yet but I will get there over the next couple of days xxx:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Skiergirl - Thanks for info about magazine I will hopefully be able to find copy pretty easily now. Are you going to be able to go on Tuesday, it would be nice to meet one of you from here. If you are I can pick you up if you like, just let me know.
Flourgirl - Thanks for PM, can't imagine why they laughed!0 -
Wow what a day!! Evening to all, hope everyone has had a good weekend??
I filled up OH's car today (after trip to NEC) and the mileage for Friday was 736.2 miles  I can't believe I drove so many miles?? it must have been driving round that roundabout near juju's once too many and also driving through them red lights in Durham :rotfl:
Been mega busy today, OH and I have dug the front garden up and completely transformed it from a bed of weeds to a lovely front garden, I am so chuffed with it, I then came in and finished making the 80 invites, I just need to stick in the inserts tonight, she is picking them up tomorrow and paying me the rest of the money :j and have also managed to watch the F1!! what a fabby race that was :j I was jumping up loads!
Must dash and get these invites finished, hopefully I will be able to play with my new stash and catch up properly tomorrow!! ... I haven't been able to reply or comment on the 387 blog posts (that is in 3 days!!!) and I was 12 pages behind here so please if I missed anything that I should need to know can you shove me in the direction!! xRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Has anyone used this site before please: www.craftybargains.co.uk they have the back issue of the magazine I want at 90p plus p&p. The p&p they do by weight so is very reasonable £1.99 upto 499g or free is spending over £14.99.
Thanks X0 -
A question for anyone in the South West, do we ever get any good craft shows around that area, Bristol, Bath etc??? I never see anything advertised except for the one at Shepton Mallet which is a nightmare to get to if you don't drive!!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0

Right off to bed otherwise I will be burning the midnight oils. I have been having fun starting to create a blog. Long way from finishing and may not happen till little darlings go back to school but I have made a start. I'm fed up with not being able to follow blogs and comment on them. I also feel very guilty at taking up so much space on a page with my photos!
Other thing I forgot to mention earlier is I got a pack of 2010 calendar tabs in my bargain goody bag. I shan't use them and wondered if anyone on here has a use for them or is that the sort of thing I should mention on crafty place, sorry if it is.
Night all

Great photos on everyone's blogs from the NEC - i've just posted a photo of my stash! Haven't had a chance to play yet though as I've been at OH's all weekend
Oh well I know what i'll be doing tomorrow night lol! x
Rainmac - Glad the party went well and you enjoyed the tobaganning! You'll have to treat yourself and go without the kiddies next time. There's a brand new huge snow centre in Hemel Hempstead which I keep saying about going to as I only work minutes away x0 -
OH has just ordered my cuttlebug...he even paid for fast delivery, so I should have it Tuesday!
So I guess the only question now is, how hard is it to use? I'm very sore and have permanent brain fog, so will it have to stay in its box for a while?
I love this threadSignature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -

Where abouts do you live? There was the Make It Show in Farnborough last month, which is supposed to be the biggest craft show in the South. There's also Stamperama at Stevenage (was the same day as Make It) and the Ally Pally in London x0 -
Rusty Lovely pressies and I'm drooling over all your new stash!
Thanks for posting the pic - it's great to put faces to names.
Tired Mom - what a fantastic cake :T. The birthday party and everything that went with it are amazing. Your little princess must have had a great time.
Future MIL told me today there is a big craft show in Edinburgh in June - have any of your heard about it of can you point me in the direction of how I could find the details?0
