Sounds like you all had a brilliant time at the NEC, going to have a blog hop to have a nosy at all your stash

No crafting from me this weekend am at work all weekend, have a few parcels hopefully coming soon so will have to console myself with that.

Does anyone have any hints on how to matt cards, the last couple i have done have ended up wonky and I want to make the cards I make seem a lot neater
  • wanna-b-rich - thanks for the info regarding the watercolour pens. I have little knowledge of the different types of pens and as they are not cheap don't want to waste money on something I won't use!!! I'm still tempted by the MS pens but as I have bought the Peerless paper watercolours I will try these first!!! With regard to the water barrel brush, I have looked at these here in the US but they seem expensive at $9. I am sure I have seen them online in the UK for alot cheaper so will leave buying that till I get back home to the UK. Can you remember where you got yours from??? I love your Spring card, have left you a comment, thanks for the tutorial link as well.
Rusty - Wow what a fab shop, you managed to get some lovely stuff there!!!! Glad you had a great time despite having to use the stick to get around.
Crafty JuJu - looks like you have got a nice bead stash now!!!!!
Gemm85 - glad you were well enough to go yesterday, you bought some lovely stuff by the look of it!

Some lovely cakey cards being made for the challenge!!

    Morning Ladies

Just a quick post, I'm sorting out what I bought at the NEC. Can I just ask with all the confusion at the first stall did anyone end up with the wrong set of 12 Promarkers please.

Oh dear, have you got the wrong ones? Wasn't me - I only bought a set of 5. I was pleasantly surprsed to find a pack that didn't contain at least 1 colour I already had!

It's a beautiful sunny day here - cue more washing to dry outside!

Just nipped on to say I've blogged my entry for the cake card challenge.

I don't 'do' Easter cards, as such, but just realised how many Easter gift cards I've got to make for nephews, nieces & godchildren. Luckily, they are all past the egg stage so I can pop some £ in the envelope and they wont notice the cards!!

May not be back today as we are going to see Chris Rea tonight at the Apollo in M'C'R.

    Enjoy your Sundays!

Mary-OP - Not 'seen' you for a few days hope you are OK?
