No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
Thanks for all the advice, I think I'm gonna go for it.
I was going to buy the pink one for £60, but is this more worth it?
ThanksSignature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -

Did someone post a link to a bug for £50? In that case, the bug and the swiss dots folder would come to £54 - do you really want to spend £46 on an alphabet?
I've bought a few Sizzix alpahbets for about £12 each (in the sale on the sizzix website and a sale at a local craftshop). Some of the alphabets are on one die, which is too big to fit in the bug without extension plates (£38 at the NEC!) - but you can cut them half at a time without the extension plates IYKWIM.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
So glad you all had a fab time at the NEC yesterday, your goodies look fab, and love the photo of everyone in bunny ears.
Just uploaded to my blog my cake card for the mini challenge DTB set yesterday for all of us non-NECers, and have also managed to fit the card into OAPs KISS challenge.
Sorry to hear about the cake furry, just about to also blog the chocolate cake I made at my friends last night - had a fantstic evening, and now know how to make the cake!
Hope everyone has had a good day, will be blog hopping later. Welcome to all the newbies.
xx2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
I didn't know how much the alphabets were, but I'm glad I asked!
I'll look at the Sissix site for dies and just order the bug for now.
Thank you! I can't wait to get it. I just hope I'm well enough to use it when I do!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Lovely pictures, nice to put a few faces to names. Love the purchases too, I cant believe how much stuff some of you managed to get (think my hubby would have a heart attack if I spent that much on craft st. Only a quick post tonight as I am feeling really rough and cant concentrate. see you all on here tomorrow.0

I have been really naughty today ... OH bought me the remainding 38 promarkers from creative craft world so I now have a full set once them ones arrive!! and then I saw a bargain set of scrap stash at sarahs cards so have just ordered one of them, that is on top of the NEC yesterday and Hobbycraft the day before  :j I planned to buy the ticket stamps from pink Gem but one of them was out of stock so haven't managed to do it as yet!
Just realised the time, my kiddies are still up so I best go and put them to bed :rotfl:Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Hey everyone hope you had a nice cake day yesterday!
NEC14 thanks for a great day, it was lovely meeting you all in person. Special thank you to jailhousebabe, rainmac, gemm, glittermum, bunbun, flourgirl, rusty and choccy for all the amazing gifts you gave me they will be treasured! Next time i'll book a later train so I don't have to rush off and i'll definitely take a trolley as my back ached so much by the time I got home.
I spent alot of money (£168) after wanting to try out most of the techniques being demonstrated lol but I did get loads - I'll post a picture tomorrow. Best bargains I got I think were 3 distress inks for £11. 3 roles of wire edged ribbon for £3.75 (to make pretty ribbon roses), 2 Martha Stewart punches for £23.
Btw if anyone is planning to order from Craftwork Cards they gave us a code for free delivery (UNLOCK).
Popkins as it was a long train journey home, I googled the new electronic die cutting machine Sylphraven was talking about. I think it's the Craftwell eCraft and you'll be happy to know they do it in pink!
