Hello all :j
Been making cards..............:j Well, they started off as notelets but I'd got some nice cream card and when I rummaged through my odds and sods found some quite tasteful (well I though so) bits to pop on them..........took me ages and only did 4...........still, its something. Apart from that I've been downright lazy..................lol
rainmac - housework -my version is doing the bits that folk see............behind the sofa ? Well, we won't go there...................:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Special thoughts for you tomorrow, Rusty. I'm so sorry I had forgotten.:o
Well... there's nothing so smashing as a Cake Fest. So lets proclaim Friday as the NEC Cake Festival in honour of those hardy souls who go forth with the sneaky elves at their side to that great temple of spendy-dom, the NEC.
Yummy cakes, everyone:whistle: Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
wbr where abouts are you 'cos I thought about doing that. I went to the BBC Good Food show a couple of years ago and stayed overnight. Even got to have my picture taken with James Martin (Swoon oh! I going! THUD!) Our Rusty is a real stalwart driving there and back in one day. I'm afraid the old botty can't take that amount of driving in one day and it's lonely on your own. No-one to talk to for 4 hours or so, I only do that when I'm asleep. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

Right down on the South Coast (about 45 minutes from Brighton). It's about a 5 - 51/2 hour drive each way and I'm not brave enough to do it in one hit. I can't believe Rusty is going to do it one day, I think she should receive an award - die hard crafter of the year or something!:D
Oh I'm envious now, James Martin - yummy!
These Nellies are scaring me! I've looked on the how to site and read the instructions on the packaging and now can't decide which side I cut, the paper side or the fuzzy side - HELP:o:o:o0 -

WBR - it took me a couple of days to get going with my Nellies. Have a look here and have the black cutting side up (so you can't see the paper covered side) and put your craft knife between the separate frames. Follow the shape round and this will cut the paper backing and your frames will be separated. You do not take the little bits of white foam off, it should look exactly like in those pictures (I've got the circle and rectangle).
Hope that helps.0 -

Thank you.:D Mine have a pale grey cutting side and it was that I was going to cut, then I looked at this and got really confused. Right off to take a few deep breaths and cut the oval frame. There could be tears before bedtime!!!0 -
