Gemma - sorry to hear you are poorly & hope you manage to get some meds off your GP and get better for Friday. How bad that you daren't stay off sick for fear of your job (the person coughing all last week probably contributed to you being poorly now).

Certainly no need to apologise, you're amongst friends on here:A

Exciting news for someone on here on my blog.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and best wishes. "&son" is generally doing ok but is very prone to frustration if things aren't going according to plan - perhaps attempting to make a model of an F1 car today of all days was not the best idea he has ever had. He's a little insecure and so has decided to sleep in my bed because 'its safer'. I've appraised his teacher of the situation and "&son" knows that he can talk to him if things get too much or someone says something so hoping all will go well. He has 2 days of school trips this week so that should help to take his mind off things. Have let him pack his own lunch - nutella sandwiches and peparami anyone?

Oh, it's me:D Have sent you an email, but my outlook is express is playing up yet again! So if you get a duplicate email from me I apologise. Hope &son is coping OK, such a shame that a fab weekend ended on such a horrible note.

    I have blogged!

Get well quick Gemm! (Before Friday! ;) )
ponr - are you sad to be leaving? I'd love to be able to spend a few months in the states - the longest I've ever spent there is 1 week.

Loving the different classifications of paper. :) I told DD that if she's selling my cards for £1, there's no way I'm using Basic Grey, they can stick with Papermania, lol. :p

Even made with the cheapest of papers they are a giveaway at as £1 each. I charged a £1 for some of my cards once (at a meeting) and was accused of "lining my own pockets":eek: Needless to say I never did it again! and a lot of them were stitched ones.

Gemm So sorry to hear you are unwell and how dreadful that you don't feel you can take any time off. Going to work only spreads the germs around, that's where you probably got it from in the first place. I hope you're feeling well enough by Friday to go to the NEC, I know how much you've been looking forward to it.

    Some freebie images here http://dustinpike.blogspot.com/

Think they would be good for children to colour over the Easter hols. I think I've asked before but please what do I type to just put a word rather than the whole blog page address IYSWIM?

Hi just popped home for lunch and having a catchy up
Marg thanks for the freebie link
Gemm - hope you are feeling better (fingers crossed your job is safe)
    wanna b - congrats!!!!
Lol at the papers - the really nice ones go to close family so I can see them (and ask for them back if they are really lovely!!). Also can I ask do you ever get demotivated??? I mean I do the card making for me as it is now my hobby and I love faffing on - but when you spend a long time on a card and you get no recognition for it do you ever get cheesed off??

Morning all, or should I say afternoon?

Just wanted to pop on quickly, to say ...

    Get well soon to Gemm

Thankyou to Bunbun & Marg for the beautiful cards which have arrived this morning (Marg I have emailed you as I want to know about the flower!)

Hope everyone else is ok, still not excited about the NEC? Not sure what is wrong with me!! Everything is a complete struggle but feeling happy as OH has just left work 6 hours earlier than planned so he will finally be home after working for the last 9 days!! Can't wait! :j I managed to get 3 baskets full of ironing done yesterday, just OH's shirts to do, I got some bits sorted for Friday but I just want to sleep!! .... DD is being a complete pain in the bum today and being very demanding! hopefully she will settle this afternoon!

Hope everyone has a good day :) I hope to craft this afternoon if I can but really lacking energy/inspiration and anything else!

If anyone needs my phone number for the NEC please just shout, but I am only on today and possibly won't be back on before the NEC. If I don't get back to you then there are a few who have my number Flourgirl, Bunbun, Choccy, Rainmac so you can always ask them for it. I guess I will see some of you on Friday!!

Ali.b - YES! I think we all get this from time to time - I have a friend who would much rather I went to the local card shop & bought a card for a few pounds rather than spend hours of my time making one for her (and she'd get my very best papers too!), so that's just what I do:rotfl::rotfl:

In a second window have the website open you wish to link to, e.g. Dustin Pike's Blog. Highlight and copy the URL for it.

In your message here on MSE type Dustin Pike's Blog then highlight those words. Click on the little blue world symbol with the chain link which you will find above the message box under the white smiley face. This will bring up a box to type in the URL. It will already have http:// in the box, delete that then paste the URL for DP's blog. (If you don't delete it, the link wont work.) Then click OK.

When you submit your message it will show Dustin Pike's Blog in blue like this and link to it.

Or any other word and any other website to link to :rotfl: .

I hope you can understand that.
