Sorry snipped you. Do you remember the Castle of adventure, we had that on story tape and I listened to it at a sleepover at a friends house and ended up with awful nightmares.

I'm afraid to say I was a Wham girl and then A-HA.

Rainmac - glad the childminding went ok. I loved Enid Blyton too- famous five, the magic faraway tree (my favourite!) and the wishing chair. I kept the books all these years and when they were old enough got them out for my kids, they didnt seem to have the passion for them that I did! I think they prefered Roald Dahl.

    Morning all.

Addams I was the same - I kept all my books. DD1 (19) loved them but DD2 (7) like you say loves Roald Dahl best.

Peppop - I didn't like Duran Duran (being from Birmingham I was nearly lynched :rotfl:) I loved Paul Young. :D Those were the days...OMG I sound like my mother!

Well done ******* on a win with another lovely card.

I need to pop out in a mo - I'll make some cards and checkout blogs later. Have a peaceful afternoon everyone. xxx

    Hi all,

I hope evereyone is good today.

    Congrats to the winner :j

DS1's teacher had a word this morning and said she has concerns with him, as he can read and is really good at maths, but has trouble with his writing, doing the simplest of things like copying from the board and suggested he may be dyslexic  So i have come back and had a look and think she maybe right :( I will speak to her when i go and collect him this afternoon and see where we go from here.

Last night, while i was tidying up i was saying to OH must go into town in the next couple of days to get his birthday card for Monday and he goes 'oh i thought you would make me one!!' So i said 'I didn't think they were good enough' so he then says 'i will be disappointed if you don't!!' So talk about pressure!! So question time now :rotfl:Can anyone point me in the right direction for a golfing bear?

Anyway enough of my waffle, dreaded blood test results tomorrow

Take care and have a good day xx

    P.S. I was a Take That girl!

Tired Mom if no-one comes forward I can always pop a post over on UKscrappers and see who's got it.

Just had a quick lookee over on UKS and Craft Obsessions are stocking Bo Bunny's Winter Joy papers, they look lush.
 Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"!

My friends son had similar 'difficulties' - turned out he couldn't see the blackboard! Might be good to get your son's eyes tested? Oh & don't worry too much my friends son got a 1st class Honours degree.

Hope your blood tests are OK.

I've never read that one, and don't talk to me about A-HA or I'll come over all funny thinking about Morten Harket, mmmmmmmmm

Elysia I saw Paul Young in Glasgow when he brought out the No Parlez album and I was right under his mike stand, which was great until he twirled it with the mike cord and just missed cracking me in the face with it. The Lotus Eaters were his support, with their Jelly Shoes. Oh the memories - I feel old now :(
