Don't feint anyone but I have posted something vaguly 'cardy' on my b**g. It's nearly 3 months since I last updated it - must try harder!

I was a bunty girl too and still vaguley remember a comic story in one of the albums that properly terrified me. Sadly, I can't remember the details now - I think my brain has blanked them for self preservation reasons.
Eyes still rubbish - off to the hospital tomorrow so fingers crossed everyone. In th meantime, I'm trying to finish off a project from last years Harrogate show. Won;t be able to make it this year as I can't really drive very far at the mo. Hope to finish it off at the weekend.

Think I'm going the same way as my MIL - I read everything on here then when it's time to reply I forget what I need to say and/or repeat myself! Sorry.....

Bunbun - good to see you here - hope by the time you read this your stresses over DS2's back to school will be over & you feel better.

Lizalloareds - forgot to say congrats on being an Auntie again.

Rusty - hope the pain soon goes, both in mouth & leg

DTB - it's hard typing with my fingers crossed - I do hope all goes well for you tomorrow.

I'm a Bunty & Jackie girl too. I remember the cut out dolls and the (unfashionable) clothes in Bunty with the 'Four Marys' moralistic boarding school serial cartoon, such days of innocence! I remember Jackie mostly for the 'pop star' photos I cut out for my bedroom wall.
  • Just got back from a day in San Francisco. I caught the train in alone and walked and walked everyywhere once there as the buses are so complicated in SF!!!!! I wanted to visit a very old bead shop that has been open since the 60's and is run by an old man who knows everything there is to know about beads. The shop was crammed full of every type of bead and some of them were quite old. He has been collecting beads for years!! The prices weren't cheap but I managed to spend $17 whoops!!!! He had some lovely crystal beads there. Can't beat ebay prices though!!!!

Didn't end up going out yesterday so missed out on spending the Michaels 50% off voucher on the cupcake edger punch. I have a 40% off voucher so will get it with that instead.

Managed to comment on a few blogs last night but Blogger really is not behaving very well lately!!!!

Hope everyone is ok - just going to catch up on todays posts.

Morning all! What a miserable day. My grandad phoned last night and asked whether I could make some cards for him to give to family. I attempted it last night, but not to happy with the results.

Is anyone in the Essex area at all? My friend who is a Stamping Up demonstrator is running a Christmas card making class, where we will be making 30 cards! (Perhaps not all on the day, but in the pack to go home.)

I'm also running a backwards raffle there for my charity, which is loads of fun. If anyone wants any info, please let me know!

    Morning all.

Busy day today, so will try to catch up with the rest of the news later if I can.

Bunbun - my DD started high school last thursday. There was nothing to worry about, shes fine and says she bored of it already! So I'm sure your DS will be fine. Try not to worry. I'm sure its worse for us mums than the kids, they all seem to take it in their stride.

DTB - hope things go ok at the hospital

Marg - I cut out alot of those posters too and had them on my wall. Duran Duran was plastered everywhere!

Well done artydoll on your win.

Off to do a bit of blogging, then must get on! Hugs to all. xx
