    Morning all.

Busy day today, so will try to catch up with the rest of the news later if I can.

Bunbun - my DD started high school last thursday. There was nothing to worry about, shes fine and says she bored of it already! So I'm sure your DS will be fine. Try not to worry. I'm sure its worse for us mums than the kids, they all seem to take it in their stride.

DTB - hope things go ok at the hospital

Marg - I cut out alot of those posters too and had them on my wall. Duran Duran was plastered everywhere!

Well done artydoll on your win.

Off to do a bit of blogging, then must get on! Hugs to all. xx

OMG! I go back much further than that mine was the early Beatles era.

    Well Done to our Winner!

Not sure I should say we have clear blue sky & sun here today 'cos my boasting of good weather yesterday resulted in thunder & lightening by lunchtime.
  • Morning - pouring with rain here, but really muggy.

    Congrats to our latest winner.

PONR - sounds like you had a fab day

    Bunbun
    - hope your son gets on OK today

I've finally given in and ordered a set of the Marianne C's snowflake dies - I bought some gorgeous new Christmas papers yesterday and I'm now itching to get started on Christmas cards.

Hope everyone is OK, I've got to work tonight and I'm sooooo not looking forward to it, plus it's interfering with a project I have on the go.

Well done to the latest winner :j

    DTB, good luck today xxx

Welcome back Bunbun, I'm sure your son will be fine :).

Wifey, can't believe how many cards you make and send to the States every month . I send a magazine to a friend's mum a couple of times a year and it costs me more to post it than to buy the magazine :(

Rusty, sorry you are in so much pain, hope the absess gets better quickly xxx

WBR, what Christmas papers did you get? Sorry being nosy x

I remember Bunty and Jackie, I used to be a real bookworm as a child and read loads of books and magazines. My fave books were by Enid Blyton.

DS1 had a great 1st day back yesterday, he loves his teacher and they did loads of fun stuff apparently. It was my first morning of childminding, think I'm going to have to give DS1 the money as they spent the whole time playing 100 pin bowling on the wii ;)

Glad your son enjoyed his day and that the childminding went OK.

I think they were the new DCWV ones - they'd only just arrived and I helped my friend seperate the stacks and price them, and then picked the ones I wanted - I'll find out later and let you know! They were gorgeous though all glittery (thermo-bonded glitter paper so no shedding everywhere) and lovely colours - one of my other crafty friends popped in last night and immediately started stroking them.
  • Morning all

Gorgeous day here so fingers crossed I can get a load of washing done and dry.

BunBun - Hope you are feeling a bit better now. I have lots of friends with children starting at high school and I think the mom's have all found it harrowing where as the kids have loved it.

Had fun last night at class, just had a mess around with one of the new stamps I had bought before going away. Also got to see the Bigshot in action so think I am going to go with that as I must admit I like the sturdiness of it. Just need lots of nice money from family now for my birthday to pay for it. ;)

I used to have "My Girl" or "Girl" magazine when I was young can't remember the exact title. Like rainmac though I adored Enid Blyton but was a Secret Seven girl rather than Famous Five.

Does anyone know who is likely to stock the new Bo Bunny Christmas Papers at a sensible price. I only want one particular sheet but will want about 10 sheets of it.

    Right off to do chores.

Cheeky beggar that i live with just said it was pictures of the inkspots and max bygraves when i was a kid. He can speak for himself it was donny osmond , david cassidy and the bay city rollers when i was a teenager. lol

Not very nice weather here today . Princess k has gone to school. She said she's only going because she likes to have her lunch in the cafe and you don't have to give them any money. Might be because grandad already did.lol.

Carlys first day at proper nursey today. She strutted in like a peacock.

Rainmac - glad the childminding went ok. I loved Enid Blyton too- famous five, the magic faraway tree (my favourite!) and the wishing chair. I kept the books all these years and when they were old enough got them out for my kids, they didnt seem to have the passion for them that I did! I think they prefered Roald Dahl.
