Tiredmom - yes the challenge is black and white, I think it finished next Tuesday.

The Wife - Gosh I remember them. I used to spend hours cutting out when I was a kid. Not quite as long ago as the 50's though I might add! Do you mean something like this. Bit more sophisticated than I used to have though!
    May - £251.63/£155, June - £108.69/£150, July - £157.45/£155, Aug - £104.28/£155
    Sept - £110.80/£150, Make £5 a day in Oct challenge = £50.50/£155

Adamms and Scatty Jan, thank you so much, they're are the sort of thing I remember, there is a genuine reason for me asking as this was my earliest memory of crafting, were they called Milly and Mandy?

  • Bunbun - Did you get sorted with the image of the boy with a mobile phone? I know it is a few weeks ago but I am only up to page 611 so don't know if you got sorted or if it is too late. I haven't got the one with a phone but I have one of the top half of a teenage boy with a pair of cans (headphones) around his neck. If you aren't sorted and this is any use let me know.

Right better get my butt into gear and decide what I am taking.

  • The comic I got Im sure was called Mandy
    xx

Just checked yes comic was called Mandy and I also remember Judy lol
  • ohhhh Bunty
    just found this
The average issue of Bunty contained several short comic-strip stories, broken up by letters pages, competitions, featured readers, puzzle pages, promotions, next-week previews or advertisements. The back page, initially used to feature a cut-out doll and paper clothes, which eventually gave way to a wall-poster.

Bunty came out in 1958 look here

If you actually want the comic, they do sell them at amazon, but they are a collectors item, so may be expensive.
I used to have mandy and bunty too!
