    Congratulations to our winners :j:j

Rainmac my son is your age and he was mad on A-Ha in fact I think we have an LP in the loft. They were about when I worked in the local Comp at dinner time and they played it non stop in the common room along with T'Pau.

I was more of a Beatles fan too. Although I am old enough to remember Freddy and the Dreamers....(sings).You were made for me...everybody tells me so....:rotfl:

Just put a Thankyou card on my whatsit for the lady who gave me the stash.

I am having a nightmare with looking at other people's blog posts, blogger only wants to show me what has been updated in the last 3 or 4 hours, sorry :( Will have another go tonight when boys are in bed.

T'Pau, there's another one. My dad loved T'Pau, I was really a closet U2 fan but kept up with what my mates liked so I didn't look really odd being the only U2 fan in my class ;)

Flourgirl my brother liked freddie and the dreamers and used to sing that song all the time.

I used to read enid blyton too love the st clares books and mallory towers . I thought it would be super to go to boarding school. My mum used to say i could go too if i could find a free one as only rich children went. I must have been horrid. lol.

Me too, it's missing loads of updates out and then they're there 24 hours later but way back in the list.

Sorry I'm not joining in much, not sure what's wrong with me ATM.

But well done to all the winners and someone needs to look here, you got a top 3 pick. Very well done :T.

Exciting news ScattyJan, always a bit nerve-wracking waiting for exchange of contracts. Hope everything goes according to plan now.
  • Congrats to Arty Doll - well done!!
WBR - fancy having to work!!! Don't these companies know that they are stealing valuable craft time!!!!
Rainmac - glad the childminding went ok for you.

I loved all of Enid Blyton's books including Mallory Towers collection, St Clares,Naughtiest Girl collection, Famous Five, Secret Seven and Mr Pinkwhistle!!!! I still have them all in the attic and I bought some new ones to try and get my niece into reading also!!!!

Scatty - so glad to hear your news, good luck with your move, you won't be living very close to me now lol!!

I had an email about a craft fair in November - I did this fair a few years back and I'm thinking of doing it again as have loads of jewellery items to sell but I am not due back from the US until 20 Oct and the fair is 13 November - I'd need to make up some more things and wonder if 3 weeks is enough time lol!!!! Trying to think of some more quick and easy things to do!
