Hi all, not been here in awhile! I had my birthday in July and my mum bought me a Scotch ATG 700. I've never used one before, and it doesn't come with tape - and I'm not sure what I'm doing really! Does anyone else have one?

I think I've worked out I would like the 6mm tape, as that's the size I use most often. Then I read something about an 'adaptor' to use 6mm tape. Is that right? So I need to buy the tape and the adaptor? I looked on eBay and they only seemed to have the dispensers. Froogle also didn't have many options - only large sizes. Does anyone know the cheapest place to get the tapes please?

How do they cut - does it do it for you?

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi,

Congratulations Dragonllew, wbr & our other winner :j
Has the baby arrived yet Auntie Mad-Frog?
    kms Great freebie! :D
Sorry to hear you are in pain artydoll. Sending lots of hugs your way
Irlip You can print off the stamped images onto paper/card & then stick them to card you are making if you find that easier. I've just bought some promarker pens to colour in my stamped images but they are quite expensive & you may want to start with something a bit cheaper. When I first started making cards I watched the craft shows on QVC for ideas (you don't have to buy anything!), they are usually on a Tuesday afternoon from 2pm. I also looked in craft magazines & online. Ask us as many questions as you like! You'll be addicted to card making in no time!

I haven't made anything today but will hopefully get something done tomorrow. x

Just wanted to show my face as I have been watching this thread (and the previous ones) with interest. I have ordered a copy of Lets Make Cards as a starting point - I have never made any before, but enjoyed art immensely when I was at school.

Having seen some of the cards that you guys have made, I am amazed at the talent. I work in a little village post office and shop so if I did manage to make any that were half decent, I could pop them in the shop to see if someone wanted to buy them. I am not sure whether it would be profitable though as I would probably spend more on making them than I could sell them for :D Does anyone on here sell them or do you just make them for the fun of it?
