:jQuite like those 3D ones.....is it called decoupage?:p
Yes it is called decoupage, you will need card blanks or you could score your own, a craft knife, some double sided tape, some sticky 3d squares to make the decoupage ... Er ...3d lol and then any patterned papers you like. If you then want to embellish them then obviously you will need these swellrusty I'm not counting card blanks as stash as I see those as essentials, along with envelopes, DST, etc. I am classing stash as anything I WANT but dont NEED....! such as pretty paper, non-essential tools, punches, etc.
Thanks gem, I have used5 rolls of dst in a month! That's not including the 2 rolls I gave to bunbun! I only have a few cc card blanks left! ... I have anitas but these are not as good a quality!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Rusty - I'm sure the two weeks will fly past.
Irlrip - hi and welcome!!!! I think Rusty has about covered it all!!! If you're interested in decoupage then QVC sell a lot of kits - ones that have the decoupage sheets plus the card blanks/envelopes and patterned papers - this would probably suit you if you are looking to start. Plus you get cashback through quidco/topcashback on your purchases!0 -
whoo hoo i got a phone call today to say that my furniture had finally arrived at the range . Not bad really 4 whole months for a 7 to 10 day delivery. lol.
On the plus side while he was picking up the furniture my oh brought me home the other 3 nostalgia stamps , 5 packs of calendar tabs a leaf punch ands emboss , and a set of summer bloom stamps and papers . He said he knew i was trying not to buy more stuff but he knew i wanted the calendars and nostalgia stamps and needed a leaf punch and he just thought the papers and the stamps looked nice and the lady told him they were new. Result lol.

No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
forgot to say I'm with you on the scalloped card blanks Rusty - they just don't look right with the fold at the side and the scallops take up too much space
DD is at school disco tonight so am going to craft once she's had her teaOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Thanks for the teacher image. I have decided to let DS sketch up his own. Kids are not as critical of their creations I find, so I know he will make it his own & be proud too.
I have stacks of stash so I will put him to work on that ASAP as he breaks up on Friday.
Hope everyone is well. Hugs to those that have not had such a good time of it lately & need a little extra strength.
For those who have had reason to celebrate belated congratulations.
I hope to be more active very soon but until then I shall have to nip in & out as & when I can, take care.0 -
