CT - go to the part in Advanced where you change text colour, etc. Did you see the bar slides down? Go down to VISITED LINK COLOUR and choose your colour. This will change the colour of the words typed as links, also the blog archive headings. The text not included in the link will stay the same as your normal blog text. I hope that makes sense. I had a play with all of them to see what they all did :D.

Thanks TomsMom - just been through and made the change so I am very happy with my new blog layout :D. Thanks for your help.

ETA: CT - how did you get the green colour for your page background? I've tried changing the colour where it says Page Background Colour but it stays white.

It came with my background choice. My Page Background Colour is set as white - #ffffff. Not sure that will help you though, but will go and have another look for you and see what I can find.

Just found this on the help - think it will help you to change the colour. You need to go into Edit HTML under design and find the code to change. I think if you find a shade of green that you like and know the number, then you just add that as well

Hope it helps you and works.

I've just re-read your reply and gone back and checked my blog backgrounds, (I've got 3 blogs), just realised that the two that have white backgrounds are actually meant to be white :o, my house one has a cream page background that co-ordinates with the side bits and header. Doh!!!!!!!!!! I'll leave it as it is then :rotfl: .

Thank you for all the birthday wishes and the yummy looking cake! Had a quite meal last night and celebrating properly all weekend :p Here's a photo of my desk which they decorated at work (star sequins everywhere - i'll be finding them in my drawers for years hehe)...

Mahoosive thank you to all you amazing ladies who sent me the huge pile of gorgeous handmade cards including Paddingtondoo, Marg, Flourgirl, Rainmac, OAP, MadFrog, ScattyJan, TomsMum, Wann-B-Rich, ArtyDoll, Gemm, Hassy, Chocolate.Orange, Dragonllew & TiredMom. I was soo touched and spent ages stroking them all in admiration lol! I can't believe how generous you are especially when i've only actually met a few of you in real life - you're the best group of virtual friends anyone could ask for. I just feel quilty that I haven't had a chance to send a card to nearly as many of you as i'd like to this year. When I can bear to take them down i'll post a photo on my blog.

Rainmac thank you also for the mini stamps (I didn't even realise Basic Grey did stamps) and cute notebook. Where are the paper doilies you use from? There was one on your card and you sent me some cute heart doilies in a stash swap, which i'd love to get some more of.

Hassy thanks for the gems - is the lovely curly happy birthday sentiment a stamp? Do you know where it's from?

Gemm thanks so much for all the stamped images, I love the Pepper & Friends cat on the flower pot image. What have you put on the cupcake to give the gorgeous shimmery effect?

Oh no Rusty & flourgirl - sorry to hear that you may not be able to make the NEC in November but it was lovely to meet you last time!
On the plus side while he was picking up the furniture my oh brought me home the other 3 nostalgia stamps , 5 packs of calendar tabs a leaf punch ands emboss , and a set of summer bloom stamps and papers . He said he knew i was trying not to buy more stuff but he knew i wanted the calendars and nostalgia stamps and needed a leaf punch and he just thought the papers and the stamps looked nice and the lady told him they were new. Result lol.

Ooh you have him well trained - if only my OH could take a few tips lol

EDIT: I've just added a new card on my blog which I've made for my friend's engagement.

Hi Everyone, remember me!?! Sorry I disappeared for so long. It was due to a combination of laptop problems & personal stuff. I'm back now though! It's going to take me a while to catch up with what's been going on. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with you chatterboxes & start making comments on all of your lovely blogs. I'm going to try & get some of my new cards added to my blog too (if I can remember my password!). Hello to all the people that have joined in since I was last on all those months ago! x

gemma - hope you had a lovely lunch with your mum & auntie.

Jowri - sorry to learn of your bereavement.

Rainmac - how did you get on at the dentists - did you escape treatment free?

Grapey - think there'd be too much movement for me with a rocker block.

OAP - congratulations on being a granny to be, what a shame they are so far away.

    Irlrip - welcome!

Craftygranny - glad your furniture has arrived at last and you got a bonus from DH

    Lizalloareds - :wave:hope you're enjoying your holiday.

Hassy - No thunder here - hope it doesn't start when I've gone to bed.

quicksave - nice to see you on here - glad you managed to get your blog sorted. Hope mine doesn't 'go off' or I'll be struggling too.

Peppop - sorry your OH is feeling so down hope he is feeling brighter today.

Well, my PC has been at the computer 'hospital' today and has come home tonight working fine, it passed all the hardware tests, had one virus detector removed (apparently it had two though only using one) had the fan cleaned:eek:and I've been told how best to back up to DVD's which was causing me a problem @ weekend. :j

:hello: Hi! fifi, nice to see you back.

Right, off to bed, just had to spend a quiet evening with just me 'n the dawg. OH is on early earlies so no crafting for me this week at all, just stroke those Elzybells stamps.

Does anyone have any tips on sticking them to an acrylic block? Just a bit of glue stick or e-z mount. Anyone bought that Spray and Stick aerosol that Sara from Crafters Companion witters on about?
 Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"!

Marg Hoorah, you have your computer back!! Aren't they a pain when they don't work right? It makes you realise how much you need and use them....

Lei I am so glad you had a good birthday and your desk and decs look brill!! How thoughtful of your work colleagues.. :) Good idea celebrating over the week end.. :D
The curly happy birthday is a Hero Arts stamp, I got it in a bargain box at Dawn Bib's a couple of months ago.. I can do some stamped images for you and send some.. At her shop you can also buy peel offs with various sentiments in the same writing. They come in either white, black, silver or gold. The white ones I have coloured with promarkers before now, but the red comes out pink on them.. :(

Wifey I have the stick and spray that Sara goes on about, but am ashamed to say, I haven't used it yet.. :o I will have a go with something tomorrow and let you know.. I usually use pritt stick and I also use a thickish spngey old mousemat, put the card ontop, then press image down on it and it gives a really good impression.. that is if easy mount isn't attached to the stamp already.. hth x
