Thanks Wifey for asking the question about fixing the rubber stamps to something to use them. Thanks Hassy for offering to experiment. I think Craftygranny suggested Pritt stick or DST but have to be quick to take DST off. I'm bet that I'd forget & ruin something.
Is ezmount the same or similar to Kling on which I've also seen mentioned.0 -
EErm i forgot to remove one of my sugar nellies from the block this week it's been on with dst for about a week but it came off okay thank goodness. I usually use a glue stick but if i can't find one i use the dst.
Yep eazi mount and kling on do the same thing i've had both . I've found some stamps don't give a clean image after being mounted on it though . so i decided i'll stick with the glue stick.
My oh isn't bad really i just don't ask him to buy things much anymore . After the t bags last year and the post it notes and even the flower seeds i daren't pmsl.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

But craftygranny the post it notes have been reduced to 14p if you can find some. I only managed to find 2 packs but that was after asking a shopper who has some in her trolley to show me where they were ( in a reduced section )0

None of those post it notes left in ours i asked tonight even though i have a cupboard full lol. girl said they changed the packaging so they got rid of the old ones.
I was looking for some small packs of pencil crayons i'm sure i got some smart price ones last year but i couldn't find any. maybe i'll have to try tesco but i hate that shop.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

I've finally managed to get on 'The Cutest Blog on the Block' to save my flourishes background! :j I also worked out how to change mine by pressing the screwdriver icon on my title box which gave me the code for TCBOTB.
My advice - get on Cutest Blog now or this morning early before the world wakes up and clogs it up again!
Thanks again for the instructions! :TI don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -

Marg glad the computer is working properly - I'd be lost without the internet now
Lei - glad you had a good birthday
good old pritt stick is great for sticking stamps to blocks. I prefer e-z mount tho so will be off to Joanna Sheen shortly - thanks for the reminder. I have lots of unmounted sweet pea stamps.
gonna make a medallion card for a wedding today - I'm gonna get some moolah for it aswell0 -
Morning - just a quickie from me got to go to work in 5 minutes. Sorry I didn't get back last night with the winner of my challenge, but DS had a bit of an accident at the skate park (fell off of a ramp and landed on his pelvis) which kind of threw my evening somewhat. The rest of the evening was spent trying to sort out my blog - grrrrrr, wish I'd come on here as CT posted the answer way before I'd got round to figuring it out! I've fixed it now and I'm gonna leave my blog well alone until the stampede on CBOTB has died down! I'll post the winner later.
Melissa - I haven't forgotton your email, but things are a bit hetic here this week. I hope everything goes well tomorrow. x
Marg - glad to see you've sorted your techie problems
OAP1945 - sorry meant to say before "congratulations"

Morning..
Right, mission acomplished.. tried stick and spray and it works.. I still used my old mousemat under the card and could reposition the stamps quite a few times.. I used a large stamp sheet that has lots of stamps on it that you cut around, which I have yet to do..
I cleaned it all after with a bowl of soapy water and rubbed the sticky stuff off and job's a good un..
hope that helps everyone..
Wanna b Your son's fall has got to hurt.. OUCHY!! I hope he is ok and not too stiff and sore this morning.. He's lucky nothing is broken!!

Just a flying visit as I've realised there aren't 40 hours in a day and I have too much to do today. My Elzybells order has just arrived, I ordered on the 6th and got a dispatch email on Monday. Hope this helps anyone still waiting with time frame.
