I got the message on my blog too - such a shame as I've not had my new background long! I was very naughty last night and had a spend at
craft obsessions - they've got some nesties and magnolia stamps on special offer including the recent fairy tale range which I love. I spent £38 - was going to be charged £4 postage - then I realised that postage was free if you spend over £40 - so I bunged a load of bazzill in my basket!

I've posted my latest DT card on my blog - its a lot easier this time - not a dog in sight thank god - its to use buttons. I've got a few other magnolia cards to blog if I have the time. Kids finish school today - means that I can have a few lie-ins but it also means I'll be constantly referreeing their arguements!!

Afternoon everyone. Just a flying visit from as I've not long been in from work and I'm gagging for a coffee. It's just started raining here, we've not had any for weeks, so we really need it. I'm kind of betting that the kids break up tomorrow and it's going rain solidly for the next 6 weeks!

My challenge closed yesterday and I have the following entrants and I'm assuming that this is everyone? I'll draw a winner later. Also if you entered my giveaway, the winner is posted on my blog.

Rusty take care with your dieting and exersizing please xx
Quicksave I have the same message and have followed Wifeys instructions to the letter and have changed my background, however, I still have the message about friday so ... Wifey please ??? I am assuming that I will have a blank border/background on Friday and will then have to add another free background then. ? Yes? answers marked to ..
she who needs her hand held please:rotfl:

We had some fantastic and miserable news I am going to be a Granny again in December:T:T but my sons and their families live 70 miles, 800miles and 10,500miles away and yup you guessed it the new baby will live in NZ:( ah well

    I will I promise :)

Fantastic news, and also not so fantastic! You will have to join us in the stash ban and then you would probably have enough to pay for a flight!

Wifey, without him I would be screwed lol

Melissa, ours break up Friday then ds goes to his dads for 2 weeks, I would much rather referee arguments than lose him for a whole 2 weeks :(

I've given up card making for today, printer is doing my head in and I can't print the papers I needed! Finished 1 but it's not how I wanted it to look and I can't be bothered with anymore stressing over the other cards!

Hi I am new to card making so hope I am on the right thread. I have started reading through all the posts but it will take me forever.

I need a little bit of advice, please.

I want to make my own Christmas cards this year. I have never made cards before so have no materials etc. and don't know where to start:o Just something simple with not too much outlay.

Any advice or links would be great.

    Thanks.

Hi irlip, nice to see you over here, it depends on what kind of simple cards you want to make, have you seen something which inspires you?

Can I just ask is buying card blanks classed as stash? I'm running low on my craftwork cards square blanks and although I do have 21 scallop ones I hate using them ones! If it is classed as stash then does anyone want to swap some of their craftwork card square blanks for some scallop ones?

rusty I'm not counting card blanks as stash as I see those as essentials, along with envelopes, DST, etc. I am classing stash as anything I WANT but dont NEED....! such as pretty paper, non-essential tools, punches, etc. ;)

I agree with that Gemma - you can't use the other stuff without card blanks - plus I'm using loads of DST at the mo so will need some more before the end of the month :D
