she speaks sense!
it sounds like working on a basis of several mini meals/snacks throughout the day might be beneficial to you to keep everything stable.0 -

yes, well....dear one, you need to do the same!
Have you got dates/timescales yet? Are we allowed o send you post when you go in?0 -
Well I will be doing the same, soon.
Nope, a lot of yesterdays/todays frustration is based around the doctor I saw gave me no information on timescales or dates,
in fact the only thing I learned from the appointment is that I am on the waiting list,
which could have been said over the phone, rather than Dad and I travelling in rush hour traffic to the other side of the damn city!
Currently waiting to hear from the ward manager to arrange a tour, as it has relocated (to the ward opposite) and changed slightly since I was in 4 years ago. If I really hate it, of course I can back out...but then what?!
I feel so lost, and like I'm in limbo. I hate not knowing even a rough timeframe, I know specific dates probably aren't possible right now, but a general idea? As it stands it could we weeks, a month, several months.
There was also no indication of what support I would get in the meantime.
I'm seeing my nurse/therapist Monday (arranged before I knew I was going in) so I'll be able to vent at her a bit,
but as she will have been updated on the recent happenings, I have it in my head she'll decide I don't need hospital
that I'm "too healthy/too much of a drama queen" and I won't have to go.
I'm really struggling with this.
Oh, I also got weighed and measured, and I've lost 1cm in height
which has made my BMI different (and yes I know it's rubbish etc etc) but that slightly increased number is going round and round in my head.0 -
oh Daisy - hope you get sorted soon, is it because your BMI has gone up?
I've just nipped into town and made the mistake of calling in at Topshop, they had some fab long cardi coat style in navy blue in the sale, the only 12 or 14's were in the maternity range, but am so tempted to call back in tomorrow and get one - they were £30 even in the sale but would be so versatile;) were's Goan when we need here to be the voice of reason - ha ha:rotfl:0 -
Thanks Lola, the BMI stuff is all ridiculous in my head as it is up such a teensy amount and still stupidly low.
Is there a picture of the cardi online?
I'm calmer, just...had a walk, around the park and around Tesco,
picked up some butternut squash for later. Brother still has people here and I can't eat around anyone but family/close friends, but looking forward to that.
Just making myself sit stillish and try to relax a bit now.0 -
Hi everyone! It's been such a lovely day today. I can't wait till it's a bit warmer too.
Wearing today:
Primark jeggings (actually really pleased with these, quite a good fit and just very comfy)
H&M black and white baggy tshirt/jumper.
Had quite a lazy day today actually, still haven't listed on ebay.
Just been to the cemetary with my mum to clean grandma's grave and there were a few young people sat there drinking. I'm a bit
and not sure what to do about it. I just can't get over how disrespectful it is. 0 -
Hi all, hope you've had a nice day. DB (hugs) hope you can shake the low mood off.
Tsabo, that is very disrespectful and it must be illegal or something. Can you call the cemetary caretaker or the police on the local number (not 999!!) and ask if they can do anything about it.0 -
daisy- no its not on line, had a look in ebay only one on there for £59.99 or best offer:eek:
tsabo - its really disrepectful, my grandparents are in one and at one point people used to drive through the cemetery just to take a short cut so they didn't have to go up to the end of the road and back down, now after people complaining one end gate is always locked0 -
Hope everybody has nice plans for the weekend. DH has a Tai Chi lesson andafter that we have the weekend to our selves. On sunday we are going into our storage containers to be reminded of what we own.0
