Sorry I've been missing in action again, I've had a really bad bout of Norovirus which totally knocked me off my feet. I just don't seem to be able to get the time to catch up with you all like I used to
I hope you are all well. I found this today and thought some of you might be interested in it.

Basically you fill in a short questionnaire about your body shape, face shape, hair/eye colour and what kind of style you want to go for (Party girl, Professional etc) and then you get a guide to what styles you should be looking out for with hints and tips on what kind of clothes suit your body shape - apparently this is worth £30.
I've just done it and have got a 36 page document which is really good. You have to register then you get the document in an Adobe file which you can save to your computer/laptop.
Just thought I'd let you all know
Anyway am going to catch up on the last few pages now - will try and check in more often from now on *hugs*
Looks interesting - I'll have a play with that
We're packing up our office at work today to move next week, so in...
Jeans (M&S boyfriend cut - really comfy!)
Black Fred Perry v neck thin jumper
Black boatneck jumper over the top
Black bead necklace and bracelets
Dark brown Adidas trainers
Feels weird being this casual at work! I did put some black trousers on but they wouldn't stay up, think that's something I need to invest in a new pair of!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Vicki - I had similar issues with paypal recently as I hardly ever use paypal it was not set up properly. My payment didn't go immediately and I was mortified! I hadn't verified my account, so what I did though was add a credit card to my paypal account as second source of payment and the payment went straight away after that. Perhaps you can suggest she does that?
I was considering asking for my sellers bank details to make an immediate payment but thought she might consider me dodgy!
I know people say that you can't really do anything with someone else's bank details other than pay money in, but you can set up charity direct debits to that bank account and this has been shown to happen in the past, I would be a little wary.
If she is desperate she can send you a postal order next day.You can stand there and agonize........

Vicki - don't think I'd be happy giving someone my bank details, what if she sent you a postal order first class you would recieve it by tomorrow and then post the pump by return.
p.s loving the sound of your shorts- where are they from?
am in jeans but with black vest and blue checked zara shirt0 -
I hate paypal. Its actually helping me not spend ATM because we are having such dificulty changing our details (we're still registered as being in Italy, and the card we used then is due to expire/has expired and it won't let us change details)/ pfft.
I'm not dressed in proper clothes yet...but think its a maxi dress day
and some bold eye make up.
I'm loving this weather

That's a lovely dress - I've been debating whether to try one too, I'm 5'4" and don't usually wear long things but then usually like them when I do!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Oh crikes. I did look at her history, 300+ feedback and 100%.
I think I might go down the postal order route.
Thanks.0 -
Changed my mind. Someone pointed out that your account fdetails are on every cheque you write so that has reassured me that it's probably OK.

Hi, just been having a quick read through and this thread looks like it could be a source of some inspiration for me!
I'm looking to budget some money each month to update the wardrobe. I've watched "Pearl Harbor" a couple of times over the past months and every time I really admire that wartime glam look, the dresses are lovely, not sure I could pull off the neatly-coiffeured hair and red lipstick but would love to have some 40s style tea dresses and heels!
Been searching on ebay for some bargains and hope to get into town at the weekend to see if anywhere has anything in that style, if anyone has any tips please throw them my way!0 -

I think a modern interpretation of forties hair is actually better for this sort of look than the neatly coiffed look, actually....a loose low bun for example. I've been doing this a fair bit lately, with minimal makeup...including a sheer red lipstick, and its a really pretty look and would go well with vintage style shirtwaister or tea dress...:)0
