I went home at lunchtime. Have had a nice sit out in the sun, still feeling really sick but managed a slice of brown toast with some cream cheese and a tomato sliced onto it..will think about tea in a little while maybe..

Weekend plans have been diminished slightly as I'm feelin rough, so friend scheduled for tea tonight has been rearranged for next wk, and my spa buddies will arrive late afternoon tomoro instead of morning, which means I don't have such a rush to get the flat ship shape..

Wish I could shake off the stupid sick/painful stomach feelings :-/

I will do, I'll try sonething neutral for tea and then think tonight should be able to manage a good long sleep (relatively) with no reason to have to be up early in the morning!
  • Hugs to Daisy and PF (and anyone else in need).

The last two days have been really warm here. Yesterday was spent sorting the pond out and whilst doing so found a few frogs which I'm not too pleased about. I don't mind them when I can see them, I just don't want them jumping out at me unexpectantly when I'm gardening.

I've been to Tesco this afternoon and wore -
brown dress with bright tropical type flowers on - Internacionale via ebay
    brown boyfriend cardi - Primark
    green tights - Primark 50p
purple shoes - Evans via ebay

This is the first time I've worn a dress without a coat on top so is quite daring for me!
  • Evening,

Sorry wasn't around yesterday. Manic day at work and then went to a Twin Peaks 20th anniverday party at a club last night. It was fab - people in fancy dress, lots of damn fine coffee and cherry pie to be had (not that I'm old enough to remember the show from when it first aired you understand :o).

Off to read back though the last few pages and catch up on everything. Quickly updated blog - shameless copying of Daisy's new shoes (sincerest form of flattery and all that!) which I MUST find in my size!

Oh, today's outfit was work gear of black dress, cardi and boots - yawn.

    xx

we_shop- I do hope you can get the shoes!

I am just off to bed, work tomorrow. I am better there will be at least a few people buying BBQ things.

Have packed the same outfit that I've worn all day to change in to when I'm finished as I am too lazy to think up something new. Will be going to my grandparents for a few hours afterwards, minus best friend. Looking forward to spending some one to one time with them.

Thank you for the kind words today, they've been appreciated more than ever.

For real?? Oh you Englanders are so much luckier with the weather than us poor folks stuck up here in Scottieland!

Have read back - hugs to all with the dreaded period pains.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.
