I wear skinnies too and I'm 35, though was mistaken for 25 when I had to go and do a lecture at Uni, they thought I was a student not the lecturer, I love my new hair still so please don't write me off yet either :T

and retro that's fab about your daughter, have realised this week that my youngest has still not decided which hand he is going to use seems to be ambidextrous, so have had discussions with the school about which hand we are going to focus on for writing as letter formation is different depending on which hand you use, after lots of observation at home and school we are going with the left hand for writing and right hand for other things. To be reviewed regularly:)

Good to know, thanks Retro. They have withdrawn him from the reading scheme aswell, because he is not interested currently in reading, which is good he is now able to chose books that he wants to share rather than have them foisted on him. Will work on his reading when he shows more of an interest rather than put him off books, he is only 4

thats good that they have done that though as theres nothing worse than pushing kids that young into something they dont want to do...it just turns them against learning. Jasmines teachers said I can start phonetic books with her as she thinks she will pick up reading really easily but I dont want to push her too much you know? I hate it when kids are hot housed, they need to be little kids for a bit :)
