The cardigan looks really nice with the dress
I've been wearing green boots today too. Put on a jumper that looked like it matched when i put it on in the bedroom but when i got outside it turned out to be bluer than the shoes which annoyed me all day
Went to debenhams today to try & swap the urban decay alice palette but they don't have an urban decay stand in there so i'll have to go to the one a tram ride away in meadowhall if i want to attempt a swap or part refund. I could get a normal refund from the nearby one though. Got 28 days to decide though.
Bought teal tights for 50p from primark and also a teal & white sparkly scarf, thick ribbed tights and some socks for the OH.
Ooh... and more stuff i ordered from la redoute got here
Some of the things don't look much like the pictures. Need to sort through what to send back.
And i'm still waiting on the embroidered skater skirt that someone here has... estimated dispatch 10th May!0 -

Ohh I'm feeling chuffed as I managed to get the four easter eggs I needed for family for £3.50 total with my discount card, meaning easter is much more affordable this year.
I'm getting sick of the crazy prices places are charging for eggs this year...seriously. Tesco wanted £1.67 for a dinky little thing. The ones I got are a good size, and were on offer at 97p each0 -

I've been shopping today. I bought an eiffel tower tshirt in New Look for £14... then went next door to Matalan and they had exactly the same (I mean identical) top for £8! So I'll be taking the New Look one back. I also saw that Matalan had a bag in that Dorothy Perkins are selling for double the price. Just goes to show a lot of the high street shops must use the same suppliers.
Anyway, I was trying on skirts and have come to the conclusion that I really don't suit knee length or below-the-knee skirtsI tried on the lovely floral Matalan skirt I saw on one of your blogs (I think it was PF's?) and it looked crap on me.
So just wondering what length you think flatters a taller figure best (i.e. 5ft10+)? Because on me I think I look better in mid-thigh length (well, about 5 inches above the knee). I don't want to look trashy though.0 -
We don't do Easter here. I just know I'm going to be offending everyone by declining their generous but misguided eggs!0

CL- knee length is a realllly hard length to pull off for anyone as it tends to make the legs look shorter. I also find sort of mid thigh length the most flattering as it remains decent but elongates.0

We paint and blow our chickens' eggs.
Oh gals, I want a shower so badly but my fingers are covered in stupid plasters over this silly pastedrawing out the thorns and I can't get rubber gloves on without making holes in them.I have got to get my make off some how.:rotfl:
and tomorrow I get to have a more relaxed day than for ages because al that is urgent at dawn in the chooks....no other early morning chores for me:j:j
I do have to buy some new gardening gloves this week though: not going through this again!0 -
I tend to stick to knee length or just above the knee, I've got quite muscular thighs so anything shorter leaves me looking like tree trunk legs.
