Magpye - You poor thing! I detest spiders, dead or alive.

Hope all you lovelies are alright today. I have popped back and forth to see what you're all up to but have been hard at it taking eBay photos, wrapping parcels, visiting DiY stores and the PO and organising sitters and parents for imminent cat duty (only 3 weeks till we go away :j).

Just updated my blog. Today's outfit is:
    Vintage frilled blouse
    Grey high waisted linen pants
Grey stretch belt with rose buckle
    Grey opaques
    High heeled black brogues
    Black and white shoulder cape
    Pearlised boho earrings
    Usual Indian rings

Hair piled up in a topknot with a grey flower

(As usual, a mixture of vintage and second hand, you know the score).

Right, off to catch up with any gossip I've missed over the past 2 hours.

    Goan

Ooh I didn't realise it was so soon! You must be majorly looking forward to it - I'm excited enough about going away at Easter and we're only going to Northumberland :rotfl:

Good God, my mum's 68 and still rocks skinny jeans :rotfl:. Age is never a barrier for looking good.

Agree, age is but a number. It more depends on HOW you wear them and how you feel in them.

    Dudeeeeeeeeeee people annoy me.
Just had a sky salesman knock at the door (shouldn't have answered but we're expecting parcels lol)
    "oh are your parents in?"
    "no"
"any idea when they will be?"
    "no, sorry"
    "ok, do you have freeview?"
    "no and I'm going now"
"oh, well I can't speak to you, I need to speak to the adult of the house anyway"

Pah. I'm almost 23. He's lucky I didn't set the cat on him.

It surprised me, too, Alex. I thought I'd got ages. Mind you, I take the same stuff everytime and buy my toiletries when I get there. It's just books I need to sort out. I travel light, even for 6 weeks my luggage rarely weighs in at more than 12 kilos.

Can you try and persuade my mum of this? She was filled with horror at the thought of going outside the house with her leggings on and had a rapidly-backtracking conversation with me when she tried to explain that leggings were only for 20 year olds (self - "Are you saying I look like a FREAK in them?! :o )
