  • Boyfriend has just told me we've got a wedding to go to in september...arg! I've got NOTHING that I could wear to a wedding :( I'll have to keep my eye out in the charity shops over the summer for a smart style dress grrr hopefully I'll be able to find something that I can wear more than once

Hi all, just a quick post because I want (no, correct that) NEED to do some housework tonight. Just baking a yummy buttermilk loaf for my work colleagues for tomorrow.

I generally wear skirts around knee length or just shorter. Personally don't find skirts/ dresses longer than this flattering for me, but I know lots of others who do.

    Currently I'm wearing:
black trousers- Primark (about 6 years ago, but still going strong)
    Pink/ red top- Next
And currently in my dressing gown because it is sooooo cold in the house (and its really soft and snuggly)

Today I bought a stripey cardigan from Sainsburys- so will feature this in an outfit this week (technically allowed using money from ebay) Cost £8.

Have a good evening all x

I managed to find a fantastic dress for a wedding yesterday in H and M very reasonably priced £24.99 and will definitely wear it again and very versatile, I need to get round to taking a pic of it but a bit bogged under as have an assignment due in, (I know, I know i'm currently using any excuse to not get it done lol, wouldn't mind but had to mark other peoples assignments today just can't seem to get on with my own) I was worried I wouldn't find anything I liked, could wear again and was affordable so started looking at the weekend and found dress, shoes and bangle for grand total of £37.99 :T Will borrow bag from a friend just need to find necklace hmmmm

    opps forgot outfit for today,

    I wore
    black tailored trousers
    stone long sleeved t shirt
    Black base layer fleece
    Walking shoes

    Then when outside

Big thick coat, hat scarf and gloves, then added trusty waterproof trousers so could get down on the floor collecting treasure :-)

It is but it will be the first time I'll be meeting all his family, it is his mum's sister who is getting married so there will be LOADS of family there, obviously I've met his mum & dad, and brothers (+ girlfriends) and his granddad but not the rest of them...and obviously I want to make a good impression - why I'm not quite sure because I prob won't see them from one year to the next...but that's what my head says right now.

    *stress over*

I can get myself into a right old flap over nothing sometimes, nothing like living in the here and now:rotfl:

    um I think I need a ciggie
