Morning girls,
I have a interview-!!!-assessment today at twelve and don't have a clue what sort of thing to wear to it. Help? I don't want to wear any black if I can help it, as I'll get covered in white cat fluff before leaving the house and that looks a bit unprofessional.Would a skirt be okay - I don't have any pencil style skirts, just skater/dancer style. Nor do I own any shirts as I have problems fitting 'the girls' into shirts and blouses. :rotfl: Oh, I am unprepared.
Also since this is a literacy and numeracy test, should I disclose that I'm actually in the process of being referred for psychological testing for dyscalculia, or is that going to hurt my chances before I even started? Ye gods I am nervous about this now.
Morning, lovely!
Good luck with your interview. I agree, don't wear black. A nice dress and jacket, perhaps? Just go for something you feel both yourself and confident in. I did lots of interviewing in my last job and didn't expect overly formal attire, just the sign the applicant had made a bit of an effort.

good luck magpye
I just had bad news... alice in wonderland eyeshadow palatte just got here... and the mirror is smashed
There's also a sticky bit of glue or something on the top of the case
The eyeshadow looks lovely though. About twice as expensive as any other makeup product i own so its a shame my first adventure into fancy makeup ends like this0 -
MF- return it!0

Optical dispensing assistant, so numeracy a must. I'm not innumerate, as I have coping methods for dealing with my brain's inability to form number bonds and to visualise numbers, but it means that I may be significantly slower than other candidates.
Goan, I think I will try a dress, for some reason I never think of dresses as interview clothing."All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -

Oh, i am going to. It just looks all out of stock now so i'm disappointed unless debenhams have secret stashes somewhere!
It says i can take it to the store so i will go to the local one this weekend or next week0 -
Yeah, perhaps try in store. Might be worth giving them a ring before you go to see if they have any and if they can hold one? Explain what happened...0

I already have a pandora, mine isn't 21cm lol
. Just a friend looking, we were debating because they have really good feedback!

I'll try ringing after breakfast. If they don't then I might be up for a partial refund and keeping the broken one, but i dunno if that would look too suspicious & like i broke it myself.
No idea how it managed to break with that much packaging, guess it could have happened in the factory though. The whole mirror looks like a spiders web.
They did send some foundation & perfume samples so i'll distract myself with those!0 -

Magpye - you must be the only other person I've met who has the same problem as me. I have a photographic memory and a high IQ but am incapable of remembering a set of numbers.
Good luck with the interview, if nothing else it's a good confidence-booster and you must have a great Cv to even get to interview stage.
A dress looks classy and feminine and I can't imagine you looking anything other than sensational.0 -
Hope it goes well Magpye
I wouldn't worry too much about not wearing a shirt or whatever - as long as you look smart (and you always do!) and feel confident in what you've chosen, that's the main thing.
Right, just off to the post office (via a couple of charity shops on the way) and the library, then back home to veg out all day.0
