  • I keep getting behind with this thread and have just spent nearly four hours catching up! OH is getting up at 3 to go to work so I may as well stop up till then and look on ebay as well.

Alex - that dress form was great. I think I'll have a go at that because it'll make altering clothes so much easier.

Daisy - You look gorgeous in your maxi dress, and what a bargain.

Piratefairy - The Topshop near me doesn't have your duck necklace. :(

Forgot to mention I did pop in to Barnados at lunchtime and I bought a Tee previously from ethel austin but it was the grand sum of 99p. I loved the logo, its a bit on the big side but might look nice hanging over one shoulder if its mega big - not tried it on yet its in the wash. Just realised its black.. doh!

Also today I found some great shoe storage boxes 3 for £1.99 at B&M Bargains so I took to organising some of my shoes tonight.
I could do with 30 rather than 3 as I have got a bit of a thing for shoes.

Nice top i like it, and I could do with a million of those boxes, we have a b and m down the road will have to have a look out for them.

And morning everyone I shouldn't be here I should be ebaying and wrapping parcels (well 2), the only thing i have to do today is take said parcels to the post office and take Callum to his mates at 2.....I did plan on getting the kids on their bikes and cycling round to the post office but it's chucking it down with rain which is so typical *insert rollie eyes* so look like we will have to walk in the rain.....not dressed yet no idea what I'm wearing I have an ironing pile bigger than me so doubt it will be anything adventurous lol

I lived all over Durham, mostly on Claypath in Durham City and at Consett and Stanley and Lanchester (we were Nomadic!). My parents live near Stanley now and I am living up in Northumberland, I emigrated :)

I have two boys aged 10 and 15 and my DH had 2 boys aged 10 and 15!! We all live together (most of the time) and 4 not so little boys can be frather noisy and boisterous as I'm sure you know.

Ahh cool we are in Sherburn Village so not too far away from there (well Claypath anyway), my mum lives in Blyth which is close enough for me lol. You must have the patience of a saint with 4 boys those ages in the house!

Went into Primark after work today, but it was absolutely heaving so I didn't stay long. Came out with a lovely black sequinned beret reduced to £2 tho. They also had silver, pewter and gold.

I'm having a lazy night tonight, got a choc brownie and a bottle of cold white wine waiting for me, and just about to settle down to watch a couple of horror films.

Retro, has your night improved any yet? I'd make OH do extra penance and get him to go buy some vodka!

I like the tshirt Kandipandi. I got some shoe boxes like that from Home bargains, but they were just plain. I love those ones though, I'm going to have to see if I can track some down. Really need to get my shoe storage sorted out. :o

For the butterfly fans, I bought this from H&M last week. I loved the colours and it's dotted with tiny little sequins, and it was only 7.99.

Anyway, my wine is calling. Have a good weekend everyone.

AHH naughty JJ do not show me butterfly things!!1 Ahhh 'tis lovely:( And thanks for asking yes I calmed down eventually with the help of a home made curry (made by OH) and Lost with a rather sexy evil Sayid mmmmmmmm

It could well be genuine, it looks the same as mine, perhaps the price will creep up closer to 50 quid nearer the ending time. Thats the chance you take with Ebay i guess. I'm a bit scared of it these days had too many problems with stuff from there.

    Morning girls,

I have a interview-!!!-assessment today at twelve and don't have a clue what sort of thing to wear to it. Help? I don't want to wear any black if I can help it, as I'll get covered in white cat fluff before leaving the house and that looks a bit unprofessional. :D Would a skirt be okay - I don't have any pencil style skirts, just skater/dancer style. Nor do I own any shirts as I have problems fitting 'the girls' into shirts and blouses. :rotfl: Oh, I am unprepared.

Also since this is a literacy and numeracy test, should I disclose that I'm actually in the process of being referred for psychological testing for dyscalculia, or is that going to hurt my chances before I even started? Ye gods I am nervous about this now.

Whats the job type magpye- will you need numeracy? I would prob tell them, re- clothes as long as you feel comfortable thats the main thing. Skirts would be fine and you have had some lovely clothing on in your blog. I have interviewed people before who turn up in jeans!!!
