I always give the same answer. Muffins. Plum and walnut. There's a wonderful recipe on the waitrose site. Best muffins I've made for long time, and I've made a lot of muffins!!Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000

I've just watched the Nigel Slater programme and he made a hot spiced plum sauce with icecream - I loved the stewed plums and ice cream (as recommended on here!!) and I'm trying the spiced one next!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

I also used the same recipe to make nectarine muffins which were equally successful and helped us get through a 2 1/2 hour staff meeting recently.Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000
