Thanks for the ideas - I like the idea of stewing them to have with icecream and my kids would probably like it too!! I think I'll go with that. :j I couldn't think of anything other than plum sauce for duck!!

chop them into halves/quarters, put in a dish cut side up, sprinkle with sugar, blob victoria sponge mixture over the top and bake.0

I've just watched the Nigel Slater programme and he made a hot spiced plum sauce with icecream - I loved the stewed plums and ice cream (as recommended on here!!) and I'm trying the spiced one next!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
