Says more about you than it does me ;)

Most weddings/marriages are a farce anyway.

Why are you so mean? If you dont agree with something that has been posted then you have the option not to post. Why upset someone? Do you get a kick out of it? What a sad individual you are.

This forum is here for people to support each other, let off a but of steam at what is obviously a stressful time in their lives, and get advice about things that might be nice for their weddings.

Ive seen your posts on other parts of these forums and you never have anything nice to say on any of your posts. No wonder so many people block you

  • Do you know what Rene....? I almost felt sorry for you - about how your bridesmaids are not kind enough about what YOU like.... you know, when you explained and implied to us all how it made you feel rubbish that people were not appreciating YOUR ideas for your wedding... i mean we all have our personal choice don't we.....?? And it would be cruel to just "put down" any idea or choice which someone had for their wedding....??

SO.....explain to us all your comment on the thread on this very board where an excited bride to be has spent time making (beautiful!!) Pew Ends for her wedding..... and you came along with THIS comment

"I bet it would be cheaper just to buy flowers for the ends"...................

    Hypocrite??

I wouldn't like to comment. But it surely sounds like double standards to little old me :(

Whats that old saying about treating others how you would expect to be treated yourself.....?
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

I think rene posted like that due to the reaction of a previous poster who was slating her reaction. I really don't think she meant it as a general registary office downer on people. Don't take offence, I think the responses to her post initially were very harsh and of course that put her in a reactive mode. I could be wrong but I think on here, we all understand we have different tastes and needs. :)

i think your just stirring up trouble.

I understood what rene meant but then i was brought up with a tolerance for others and an understanding that sometimes things get taken out of context very easily on forums and everything should be taken with a pinch of salt.

I think rene meant that unless you have oodles of buttons sitting around the house that you have collected for quite some time, or happen to stumble across a massive box full in your chosen colour for a bargain price - it wouldnt be cheaper to make the button pew ends herself, as i have tried and couldnt get that anount of buttons for a few pounds, maybe im looking in the worng place. They actually cost a lot more, which is why rene said it would probably be cheaper to have flowers.

However she could have worded it better.

No.... you didn't. You just said the comment about flowers being cheaper. The way it came across wasn't very kind or friendly..... others have commented....but my point is NOT to berate you...simply to point out that sometimes people can be dismissive and cruel without meaning to be...maybe you are more like your bridesmaids than you realise......we are all human ;)
