  • They are probably jealous let them get on with it love I don't think anyone will understand what amount of stress we're in when we're planning a wedding and we must also understand that it's not as important to them because it's not their day they will probably feel the same as you when it's their day.

I bet they are so jealous of you. After all here you are planning your big day with the man you love, and what have ythey got? I bet you look stunning in your dress, and all this is just pre wedding nerves. Its better to get them all over with now so you can enjoy your big day. Although I havnt seen you on your dress i will say i know you looked beautiful in it, all brides look beautiful so just remember to smile and be happy.

I'm voting bridezilla. I'm sorry but your 'big day' just isn't that important to anyone else, and expecting them to wet themselves over a mountain of fabric and sparkles is rather unrealistic.

I doubt very much that they are jealous at all. Perhaps they have a healthy sense of reality (where you seem to have lost yours).

    No offence.

What did you think of your dress?

I wouldn't expect anyone to fawn all over me, but I would at least imagine that I'd be told my dress was lovely and not just 'ok'.

I thin your all being a little harsh, of course the OP doesnt expecther bridesmaids to gush into tears but a simple comment of ''oh all that sparkle is gorgeous'' or ''i absoliuelty love the colour'' along the lines of saying it with a bit of enthusiasm not just brushing it all to one side. I can understand where the OP is coming from, if her bridesmaids cant say ''its gorgeous'' it puts you on a bit of a wobbler and makes you question your decision to choose it wherer or not youfeel its perfect. All the OP is asking is for a bit of support from her briedsmaids. Which isnt too much to ask really.

Okay its nice just wouldnt cut it with me. I would march them to the nearest charity shop and buy them 1980's peach puffy shouldered dresses and when they say they hate then and are you crazy say NO I THINK THERE OKAY!

You are neither, but you do need to take a chill pill :D

It could be that they were so excited about seeing their dresses, they didn't realise that they were not 'excited' enough. Or they could be self centered sods, either way you love your dress and thats all that counts. My lovely, darling, clever, witty daughter's reaction to my dress???........
