With the help of BigMummaF I've developed NSD OCD! :j....
I like this^^^bit, cuz it sums up us mad crowd a treat
On the accents--I imagine you all to be like the people on the 'Loose Women' panel, or in my case--Grumpy Old Women :rotfl:I couldn't tell you who individuals sound like, but you're all different; you have assorted hair colour & styles too..I'm not asas you thunk I izz, horr-nist!
Welcome Home Nikki; there's seventeen chances--counting today--it reach target, so Good Luck! Methinks we could all do with some of that again this month, so you'll fit in really well
I luv a good whoopsie-haul & you're definitely the Patron of Penny-watch cw :T There are some advantages to being on site sometimes  It's about the only thing I miss from my days of shop work, other than the folk I worked with...
Have you considered keeping a Spending Diary Coffee-break? I would be lost without it as my memory is not what it was, plus it's easy to forget the newspaper from the petrol station, the pack of biros from the bargain shop, a stamp from the post office. Plus our very own see-dubbya has an excellent spreadsheet to help you track your finances HERE, very well worth a look.

Morning All
Am on a two day training binge so all expenses taken care of by company, so I am declaring to-day and tomorrow!!!!But I won't add to my score yet cos I am being very strict with myself, and the aliens. happy to share the aliens but as I got them having a really really explosive lightbulb moment, I wouldn't wish it on anyone specially since we'll be paying it off for 9 years...........by that time I shall probably have completey forgotton why I'm doing it, who I am where my zimmer is and why I have lost my ear trumpet, I shall probably gibber on as well...............
By the way, stangely, I've got a wee Scottish accentMore than Two Years in

I've got a Manc accent........which I don't like
Don't get me wrong - I don't talk like one of the Gallaghers but when I'm annoyed or stressed it comes out even more and it's wierdly got worse as I've got older. Well-spoken folk and those from the Cheshire border southwards often like to take the pss a little but bizzarely I've worked places in Manchester where they think I 'talk posh' and I've ended up making an effort to talk broader to fit in!!
My favourite accent is Scottish. More Jean Brodie than RabCNesbit you understand. But I also like a bit of Geordie too like, you know what a meen man?.
Not a NSD today........
*Going to London this weekend so put £10 on my Oyster card (Can't be helped but at least I got cheap rail and a £19 travel lodge room)
*Bought breakdown cover and earned £50 cashback (It's tracked so now I just have to wait a month or so for it to be paid). Yipedeedipitydoo!
*Tonight I'm going to buy a Magazine. Shock Horror! Spending money on a magazine??!!!!! Well yes but it has a Free Neals Yard Moisturiser on the front (worth £10?) and I have a Tescos voucher for 25points so effectively the Moisturiser will cost me £3.25 and I'll have a mag to read on the way down to London. If anyone's interested then the Mag is Marie Claire April and this hot tip came to you courtesy of last weeks MSE Email :money:
Is it lunchtime yet? Am starvin'marvin' today0 -

I am on from Coventry originally and so have a bit of a cov accent which occasionally goes brummieish!! I now live in Northants (been here over 14 years) and although I dont feel like I talk differently to them they always point it out! When I go home to visit they also notice that I dont talk like them anymore! arrggghhh I have to change my accent to wherever I am lol Especially with words like bath and laugh or Barth and larf where I live now
As for NSD I have been good at the start and now falling behindI still am only on 7. I need another 8 from the 15 left.

Been on holiday so haven't posted on here this month.
I managed my target of 8 in February.
Put me down for 5 in March ( I spent every day on holiday so that has put the kybosh on equalling or bettering last month.)
Today is NSD so far and I think that this will be my first one.
You guys make me feel inadequate with your heroic efforts. I'm just glad to be 'in the black' but still keep my 'in debt' mindset.0 -
I managed an NSD yesterday!! :j:j That's 6 in total, out of a target of 15...with 16 days left in the month...really hope to make it!!
It was touch and go yesterday though...I DID pay for programmes for DS1's Aida concert (soooo long!), but he and GF paid me back...and they took me out for a meal, paid for the concert ticket...AND gave me a pressie of some incense sticks...oooh I felt spoilt...and chuffed to have got my NSD :T!
Need to get some milk and a few other supplies today though...might get DH to do the shopping as have a stinking cold...yeuk!
Hope to grab a few more NSDs this week...we'll see. Good luck everyone on the great NSD hunt!
