morning beautiful people.

Here we go for another week then. Lots of really heavy rain down here overnight so I hope the snow hasn't got worse further up country.

Off to work in a minute and am then invigilating tonight after popping home for an hour. Originally said I wouldn't do it as it was going to be where I teach on a Tuesday night and that is a 10 mile round trip to earn £12 less tax and NI and wasn't worth it for the hassle. They've moved it to my office so that's only 2 minutes away so I said I'd do it.

    busy day then bb

good morning, i still have a sore throat from my eventful night of being ill sat :( other than that what i ate yesterday stayed there, tummy still feels funny though.

its freezing here and trying to snow, the boys have come back home after their bus going early and the other bus full, freezing cold. so i got company again.

have to meet mum from cardiac exercises this morning and go shopping with her, then she'll be coming back here for a few hours, gonna see if shes up to helping me make some cakes (mums always turn out nicer than mine)

Hope everyone has a good day and hugs to anyone who needs them (sorry cannot do hugs pic)

  • Morning everyone,

BB - good luck invigilating later.

Claire - glad to hear you're feeling a little better. There's nothing better than the smell of freshly made cakes.

Well it's sleeting here, earlier there were some big fat a%$e chunks of snow but it's not sticking at the ground is wet.

I'm going into work late today, as I'm having the mole on the side of my neck checked out. It's been hurting/itching over the past 4 days, wonder if i'm subconsiously thinking about it?

Right, time to make a cup of coffee and enjoy the lazy start to my Monday morning.

    Cx

    Morning all :)

Busy day BB, good luck Lizzie! Littlemiss - hope everything goes well and Claire sorry to hear you've not been well...

Manic weekend in Leeds/Blackpool - lots of snow around when we arrived (driving over the M62 was fun ;)) but it melted throughout the day so running conditions got better as my run progressed - still had to change my route slightly to come back the way I had come as it was less snowy than the pavements - anyway got through 24 miles in 3:45 so all looking good for the marathon - and now I have run 90% of the course so its all in my mind about how far each section is which is great :)

I didnt get much chance to look in so I hope everyone had good weekends!
  • Cheers Becky, I'm probably making a massive moutain out of a mole hill!!

I'm watching Jeremy Kyle - why oh why. I think I need to turn over.

  • Morning all - loads of snow here yesterday, had an 'interesting' run in it, very slippy! Just wet and yucky today but we're meant to get more tomorrow I think.

Had a good weekend and feel really :( at having to be at work today.

Hope you all have a good one xx

I went through where you live on the train last night Red - lots of snow (Leeds had had about the same), is it still around or is it melting now?
