I dont mind skating :p, its heat I dont like - I'd much rather be freezing my ears off than getting sunburn :rotfl::rotfl:

I don't like the heat either. How fussy am I! :rotfl:

I used to really struggle in the cold because I have asthma, and couldn't run outside if there was an icy wind last winter, but this winter I have seen a huge improvement in that, and haven't missed any outdoor runs because of asthma-related problems.

I enjoy running in the cold, just have an unfortunate propensity to spend more time on my arris than I would care to when conditions are icy, and it's not good for my otherwise glamorous and cool image.... :D

I do too Squizz, it's a very confusing feeling stepping from a moving surface (well, I do stop the treadmill first, but you know what I mean) to a static one. A bit like getting off a boat. It's really disorientating.

I'm home! Horrible trains meant I had to run to get my connection, but I made it by the skin of my teeth (and then had weirdos sat near me)

I've done the shopping (sub £20 - just!) put the washing on and had a shower, and now I feel more human. Might even start an essay later.

    Afternoon everyone.

Well the interview went as well as it could have, I will know on Wednesday if I have got the job or not, and if I have, induction is Thursday. eeekkk!!

Having another so-so day today, one of those "where the hell is my life going" days. Waiting for the estate agents to ring back to see if we are getting the house and if so do we get the keys on Friday like first agreed.

I just feel like everything is up in the air right now and I dont know where I'm going :(

LMC - good news about the mole, you were right to get it checked out though.

All this talk of running makes me feel terribly lazy, and with RFL looming I really cant afford to be so un-motivated.

Lots of Love to all you lovely folk xxxxxxx

I find the treadmill has helped for 'speed work' or for a short run where I can really pace myself and I can actually see improvements.

I also get bad electric shocks off the treadmill I use.....:rotfl:

Ah but do you only get shocks when you haven't been running fast enough or long enough? Are you sure they aren't training you for 'Running Man the sequel (or running woman for that matter)?
