I need a day doing something - anything other than being at work, teaching, invigilating, being in my teacher training class, doing my assignments or planning my teaching.

I am sat here in the research section of my session and just want to cry. I feel knackered and stressed and out of control and I have 5 weeks of teaching ahead of me as well as another 4 weeks of my teacher training, an assignment to do and a presentation to do on top of my full time work. I haven't done AQA for ages and in April I will need to be doing that weekends to have enough money to live in after my WTC stops and my tax goes up.

anway......back to researching classroom assessment techniques.....sigh....

Not really squizz. We now have 2 long term sick members of the team now off for my morning job and we are struggling big time. My afternoon job is contract so I build up the time off rather than have it to use and at 8 minutes per hour, it takes a lot of time to build up enough for an afternoon. I need to build up 37 hours worth for my May holiday.

Even if I took the day off - what would I do? Shopping in town bores me, I have no family near by to visit in a day and my life has become so restricted I seem to have forgotten how to do something spontaneously or how to have fun and doing stuff outside my routine stresses me out :o . I hate driving so just getting in the car and going 'somewhere' isn't an option.

I had a week off after New Year and spent it all doing teaching planning and my teacher training work. Granted it was a snow and ice week here and I didn't leave the house for 3 days but my whole life is my job and the things associated with my job and it's not good.

OH is never going to do anything with me so i'd just end up on MSE and my farm!

Advice from runnery types...should I go for a run tonight. Did 6 miles on friday and for some bizarre reason was sooo achey on Saturday (pushed it too fast I think) and then I thought I would do a recovery run on saturday of 4 miles which was awful tbh. Muscles are much better than they were but still hurt..should I go tonight or give it another day? Am desperate to go out, but don't want to ache more tomorrow and have another rubbish run on wednesday
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

BB you could always hop on a train and come and see me...especially a wed or friday when I don't work and then I could drive us somewhere, do something different? :)

I would go tonight, just take it easy, might help loosen everything off.
