LB has 2 beautiful baby boys, a beautiful DH AND she has youth (she's only 28) - she is very rich indeed my friend:D
Thanks that's lovely
My friend has recently lost her husband, and she has 2 little girls the same age as my boys. Her husband was earning an awful lot of money but was working in a really dangerous environment, and unfortunately he was killed at work. Give me my family over money any day.Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -

My DS1 still goes 2 days a week for a few reasons. We didn't want to upset his routine completely when DS2 was born, he loves going and it gives me some 1 on 1 time with DS2. Also those 2 days hold his and DS2's place for when I go back to work. If I didn't send him those days she would have to take on someone else and then mighb not have the hours I need when Im back at work.Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -

Bad news: work look likely to say no to my request for private car allowance rather than stick with my current 4 year old company car (I'd have been much better off)
Good news: this means i can put the money I'd set aside to buy car into the mortgage
£4,200 car money + £1,600 overpayment + £375 mortgage payment (£48 of which is interest):
Old Mortgage balance: £23,400
New Mortgage balance: £17,300
Milestone achieved: Now under 1 year remaining at current repayment rate
Milestone achieved: In the teens
Milestone achieved: <£1.50 interest a day (was £1.60, now £1.18)
New target: Repay mortgage by end of calendar year which is just possible assuming keep job etc (Old target was May 2011)
Not sure you meant to post this on my diary??Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -

Yippee made the biggest OP ever 5 minutes ago, for £1662.26
This will take the OS amount down to 173k. I know it's still a lot, but it's definitely going in the right direction
Plans for today are to nip to the supermarket to get some salad. Take DS2 to baby massage, order our new dining table, make cottage pie for tea, sort out DS1s trust fund, set up SOs to both DS' bank accounts and list some things for sale on Ebay.Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0
