I would have liked to do 2 days, but work basically told me there was no way I could do my current role over 2 daysMummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -
Yippee I've sold some more children's clothes. Not sure of the exact amount I've made yet, as I need to take out postage etc. Will update once I know the amount I can move to the mortgageMummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0

cool. I have tried listing some kids shoes the last 2 weeks on ebay and no joy. Usually they sell really well if they are cheap enough. I am going to leave it a couple of weeks i think and try again.
I noticed you saying that your DS2 doesn't sleep that well. I wanted to say my DS2 didn't either. For some reason it took him pretty much till he was 1 to do so, and i never had any idea why. We tried all kinds from early weaning to different sleep techniques. He then settled down for about 6 months, and then went through another phase of a couple of months of not sleeping brilliantly. A pain at the time, but i am sure you will get some decent shut eye soon. At least once he is moving around more. Then you will have even more energy to apply to this challenge.0 -
Right, DS1 is at the childminders today, so it's just me and the little fella. I really must be productive today and not waste my time pottering round and daydreaming.
List for today is:
Check internet banking and see which bills are left to come out
Take the libraby books back
Take the baby led weaning dvd back
NOT eat any (more) chocolate
List the rest of my maternity clothes on Ebay
List some more baby clothes on Ebay
Post the Ebay parcels (baby clothes I've sold)
Look into part-time evening courses for me

Am just popping on here for a quick update. I've not been on for a while as I've been ill
but am feeling much better now so I'll be on here updating again
I've not been making many OPs this month as my priority is to get us through the end of the month without going into the OD.
We are going away next week, so I'm trying to get all our fresh food used up, and get us sorted with the things we need to take. It's DHs 30th birthday too so I'm trying to get together some things to take with us in a hamper so we can have a bit of a celebration on the day without spending too much. I need to get a card from me, make one with the boys, I think we have a banner somewhere which I can take. I'm also going to sneak some champagne and chocolates in the carI can't wait :j

Glad to see you back on your feet.
Soon be back to normal i hope.
That picnic sounds really good. I bet it will be really special. Take care, and don't try to do too much till you are fully recovered x0 -
Well things are not going as well as I'd hoped on the lead up to us going away. DHs bike has failed its MOT and needs some kind of suspension fork which is about £300ish new. He has contacted part finder and is hoping that a breaker may have a second hand one cheaper.
Our car broke down on the way home from the seaside on Saturday and came up with an engine system error message, so that's gone into Ford today
Both my sisters are stuck abroad, 1 is in Thailand and 1 is in Spain. I haven't seen either of them for a month and now we don't know when they will get back home.
Oh, and my dad has shingles
BUT on the plus side we have done really well with our money this month and might (just might) make it through the month without going into the red.
AND NR sent us a letter the other day thanking us for all our overpayments, and reducing our monthly payment by about £8. Of course we won't be paying any less, but its good to see it is actually making a difference :jMummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -
You have luck like me by the sounds of it where it all comes along at once. I think there are a lot of people stuck abroad. I know 2 people who are. I wouldn't worry there as they are big girls and will be ok.
Bike. Car  Always hit you were it hurts don't they. I'm sure all will come back on track though as you are very aware of income/outcome.
Hope your dad feels better soon. Are you feeling back on full form? And did DH enjoy his picnic?0 -
Thanks hun. I'm feeing so much better now.
It gets to me how things always need replacing at the same time, it's like someone's conspiring against us.
DH hasn't had his picnic yet, we go away on Saturday. At least we didn't decide to go abroad :rotfl:Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -
Well we have been away for a week and had a lovely time and now it's back to the grindstone.
I'm in the middle of trying to sort out our bills etc as I'm soon going to be on unpaid maternity leave. I don't think we can actually pay all our bills etc on just hubby's wage, so I'm going to have a juggle around with some figures now. We have 3k in savings left so I think we will end up using some of that to see us through til I go back to work in November.
We have booked a gardner to come and sort out our front and back garden as we have wanted to have this done for the past 3 years and now DS1 wants to play out in the garden all the time and it's really not safe at the moment. It's going to cost £840  but that includes a huge skip for £130 and re-turfing the front and back, removing all the stones, rubble, general rubbish from the back, re-levelling the back garden, adding an extra bit to the patio, a new fence and gate, and some other bits so I really don't think it's that bad. I'm sure it's not the ideal time for us to pay out for this, but we want to get it sorted out finally and then hopefully we will be able to enjoy the summer.
DHs bike is still off the road as he hasn't been able to get the part he needs for it. This is NOT good news as it means he is having to take the car to work every day (30 mile round trip) and with the price of diesel going up so much it's costing us a fortune
Other news is that both my sisters are finally back in the country and my dad is much better
I'm off to the DFW board now to post my SOA, if anyone fancies giving their opinions I'll post it on here too.Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0
