She's had a thickening of the uterine lining which has caused her to bleed. They don't know what's caused the thickening, but they have done an ultrasound which ruled out fibroids and have taken several biopsies. It's the results of these that she is awaiting.
Thanks again, guys. At least on Monday we will know what we're up against.

Thinking of you & your Mum....I have everything crossed for a good outcome....as I'm sure most people on here know by nowI had ? cervical cancer, it spread, had a hysterectomy a year ago.....mine was diagnosed eventually as "Leiomyosarcoma" a very rare, fatal form......I'm not in any way suggesting your Mum has anything like that, just if there is anything I can help with drop me a PM or grab me on FB......I know how scary it can all be...... xx

Haven't got to bed yet
can you tell. Pigpen I am thinking about what you just said and wondering if there is someone. I might have a word with a few of the Mum's from our support group, it's finding someone he would talk to would be tricky. I am wondering if an online conversation would help, I've dropped Donna Williams a message, she's an adult on the spectrum (you've probably heard of her books) who I am sure runs an adult support group....well is part of. I think he's learned not to pull now, he's scared stiff of hair shavers/clippers/scissors so hoping the fear will keep him off them. Oh if only they didn't have to grow up!
Reason I am still up is the boys, well not all their fault some moron decided to let off fireworks at about 10.30pm. DP had left the bedroom window open so they heard them and started screaming, now DS1s scared they will go off again and won't go to bed.
Ruth, safe journey vibes for you.
Ishtar thinking of you both x
Think I might give up and put DS1 in bed with me, DP can sleep on the sofa if necessary.
Fireworks should just be banned.. I hate them too!
I'd loan you DS2 to talk to him, but he doesn't talk to anyone he doesn't know so they'd probably sit and avoid eye contact with one another for a week!!
I can speak to DS about an 'online' chat.. see if he would be willing.. but you may need to translate what is written due to his dyslexia... his spelling ain't too hot. He is 14 so a few years ahead.. It might be an idea to FB questions too.. we could then read through with them and explain what is meant.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hi all
Toottifrootti - thankyou, thankyou, thankyouI was feeling a bit annoyed with myself and almost contemplated going back to using jars in my cooking although really didn't want to - I've enjoyed proper home cooking, the boys have loved the meals and I know exactly what's in them but you have made me feel so much better so I will keep at it
Big smiles and hugs to you
Valli and Gratefulforhelp - if you ever have any pearls of wisdom regarding teaching that you can pass onto me I would be truly gratefulAt the moment I support teenagers and young adults with varying special needs in our local college and I love it
Previously I was a teaching assistant in both primary and comprehensive schools
I have wanted to teach since I was 4! but life took a different path. I'm now a 35 - nearly 36 yr old mum of two boys aged nearly 12 and nearly 16 so I think my time has come
I will have to do it the long way because a) I only have GCSE's and b)financially need to still be working. Any advice you may have of which path I should take would be really gratefully received and thank you both and also thankyou to sexymouse

Morning lovely flyladies,
Toots -
Rosepink -
LadyL -Love you hon.
Jinkypinks -
Mudbath - nice to see you back hon!
Rach - I love our district nurses, they are so capable and friendly. We have a few that have been doing the job for over a decade (or two) and they are so dedicated.
Valli - I would go with beehives too. We need to look after the worlds bee population.
Mumof2 - As far as table manners, I always taught any children who visited here that 'this' was the way they had to behave at our house irrespective of what happened at home. I also agree with the others, I think you need to report this incident to Social Services. If she gets left alone somewhere again and has an accident you would never forgive yourself.
Sexymouse - Well done on passing your NVQ
poohbear - I don't 'do' facebook but would love to see a pic of your stone circle when you have one!
greenbee - my neighbours kids use 'gay' to mean 'lame' or 'stupid'.
Ishtar - Positive vibes going out for you and your mum for Monday.Hope all the poorly flyladies feel better today.

Wednesday ~ Done Yesterday
Friday ~ Done
Didn't get as much done as I wanted to yesterday. OH went out Friday night and got in at stupid o'clock, so didn't get much sleep:mad:. He has been read the riot act and hopefully was hungover and knackered enough to think twice about doing it again. Alot of the mates he is hanging about with are younger than him (Mid life crisis alert:cool:) And he needed a little reminder that we have already been there, done that and now have a home and kids and responsiblilites blah blah. He has arranged a long weekend in Ibiza for his 40th later this year, so he'd better behave between now and then or there is no way he will be going
