BHS - possible glitch

I had an item missing too - email listed all items, no note in the parcel. I phoned and they said it had not been dispatched etc (see my previous post). Leaving aside the glitch, its pretty rubbish for them not to explain to customers that some things were out of stock / coming later or whatever.

I still think in my case though, contacting customer services which may have prompted them to look more closely at my order :eek: was a really bad idea.

surely they cant ask you to pay more for the items you already have?!?!?!?!

legal terms, contract formation, you offered the order (physically ordered it) they accepted it (by dispatching the items) so they cannot go back on the price for what you have....Not sure where you stand with regards to the missing item though....

Hope you're right... I expect I'm just worrying unnecessarily. I had this thought that while they were doing the refund they might correct the glitch - didn't someone have a refund that left her just a couple of the items at full price? Taking the money after I've had the goods is hopefully not allowed though.

thanks claire order arrived all items included for just under £5. My Dh couldnt belive his eyes,

3 pairs of tights
leggings
jeans (boys)
trousers "
jacket "
Slippers (girls)
shaving mirror (item i really wanted)

Yes, despatch email listed everything. Full amount taken from card.

yes my dispatch email lsited everything
i got 1 bag of about a quareter of the items.
that says this compeletes your order. the bag says 3 or 23/2/10 and the right amount has been taken but lady on phone said it had all been cancelled and i would recieve nothing. ??!!! confused. i guess ill just have to wait and see
