NEW ICICI Feedback Poll - Are the problems all cleared up?

I had a similar problem a month ago, I had to phone ICICI and tell them I had forgotten my password and they posted a new password in a secure envelope a few days later.
I had previously asked them to reset my account (so that I could enter my password) but it never accepted my password.

Unfortunately, because I don't see too well I think I've misread one of the letters in my password and after having 3 abortive attempts to log in to my account access was witheld. I sent an e-mail which was returned unread (by postmaster) I've also written a letter by post but still no reply. Any suggestions how I can contact them as I want to deposit money with them? :mad:Bad experience with ICICI Bank at first it went great set up with a £1 the some more money still OK, so I decided to invest on a monthly basis and there e message service which never happened. Then after redecorating my whole house I lost some of my paperwork so I thought not a problem, yes not for my other financial institutes BUT NOT with HiSave first I phoned (India) but no help unless you have account number (UK postcode and then security). The e-mailed still nothing until I complained twice. YES A GOOD RATE BUT VERY POOR CUSTMER SERVICES. ???????????????????http://img.moneysavingexpert.com/smilies/angry-smiley-030.gif

Everything is ok with this Bank providing you don't want to retrieve your money!
Appalling service with 'lost' emails relating to CHAPS tansfers and resulting in embarrassing failures and additional expense in sourcing other funds. Put you money in but don't expect to get it back when you need it!! Wouldn't recommend this site to my granny!0 -
I haven't really had large sums to throw around between ICICI and my linked account, but i've messed around with lesser sums and everything seems fine (but to quote a previous poster, I suppose you only find out how good customer service is when you have a problem that needs sorting out)
I would like to see a more robust login system to be honest...A membership number and a passcode does not seem as secure as those operated by Barclays / Barclaycard, where you are asked for a random sequence from your passcode and have to enter them in drop down boxes. They just 'feel' a bit more secure (but in terms of stealing them, maybe they're just as vulnerable)Its bran ambassador is one the aclaimed ACTOR of BOLLYWOOD industry.
And I have to say, this is probably the least compelling argument to draw people to an organisation. Bit like asking Carol Vorderman to sell your secured loan products..0 -
I have just opened HiSave account with £2000 with a view to adding more later. Having read so many differing experiences, I'm a bit jittery so I'm going to leave it to that amount for the time being. I must say however, at the same time as applying to open ICICI account I applied to Birmingham Midshires and the ICICI HiSave account was up and running two weeks before Bham Midshires!0

My wife and I each have a personal account and we also have a joint account with ICICI HiSAVE.
Absolutely no problems opening the accounts and no problems either when transferring quite large sums 'in' and 'out'. The 'out' bit has £10k limits per transaction and so we have done these in stages both 'on the day' (eg, 6 x £10k - from just the one account on the one day) and 'to be done on a designated day in the future' (eg, 5 x £10k - also from just the one account on the one day).
I hope this information helps any would be HiSAVE investors out there.
We have n't had any problems with access either. Although there have been times when we could not access the accounts at weekends when maintenance has been carried out. We regarded this as acceptable and understandable. Notices to customers were always given and the downtime for work was overestimated rather than the opposite.
Yes. Our experiences have been absolutely excellent.0
