Coupon-mad wrote:Hi, see my post on page one of this thread, I think I was the first to get a warning letter from Tesco!
I binned it after reading it, and although no sanctions (e.g. deducting points) were mentioned, it scared me enough not to womble to the same card again. I am already worried that I may not receive the large amount of Clubcard points I am due (mostly from shopping & petrol, not wombling!). My receipts and the website says my vouchers will be sent before 10th Sept but I am still concerned until they actually arrive!
I had been wombling since around Easter, adding points more than once a week, and sometimes for silly little amounts like 5 points which may have given the game away (especially as the adjustment receipts show the original date of the receipt and Tesco can see that I had my card with me that day, from my 'legit' shopping records!).
I guess they are looking closely at excessive manual points adjustments at Tesco H/O!
I have picked up a couple more new Clubcard leaflets, think I will open one in my OH and my Son's name, and use them in rotation! I reckon you should buy your shopping with one card, and if you find a receipt to womble that is dated the same day, make sure you add the points to another card that was not used that day...if that makes sense!
Thanks for info0 -
Hi
Good idea to spread the adding points across a few cards.
I did buy that item of Ebay, btw and it wasn't all that useful - only as much info as you'd get on here, altho' admittedly all in one place - e.g. get lots of cards per one address and use them yourself, join all the clubs, and the discount codes for shopping online.0 -

I would stick to this site in future, it's free and the info and chat is much better!
I used to buy money-off coupons and some Tesco extra-points till-spits on eBay - until I discovered MSEI haven't bought any at all since then, there are enough printable coupons and Newspaper money-off vouchers posted on this site to keep my stash topped up for the rest of the year!
As far as points are concerned I have done OK by trying to time small shopping transactions to generate more till-spits. Also some kind MSEers sent me a few extra points they couldn't use (Thankyou!). And I would still 'womble' any till-spits I find as these are not manual adjustments like the receipts are.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

My till spits seem to have dried up recently, despite doing lots of small shops to use coupons. Has everyone else found the same or is it just me?:(0
