Till spits now on Tesco self-scan

I know for a fact that if the till staff took any till spits out the bin they could be sacked as it is tantamount to theft!!!

Snap Dormouse I had the same voucher. I went to my new local Tescos and bought one item over £1,00 using my infrequent clubcard. The person ahead of me had till spills - I did not. Then on my 2nd small shop using my Tesco creditcard which has over 9,000 points on it I had 3 till spills !!!! usually I only get one or two.

I had the one for the Telegraph too - 100 points, 50 points for Tropicana OJ and 300 points if I spend £10 or more on film processing.

I especially liked the film processing one as it had a long expiry to Sept

I had a till split on Thurs 6th July - small spend, under a tenner - it was for 5p off each litre of petrol.

Be interested to try the monday idea - will let you know!

I've had the till spill for petrol too but only on spends of £50+

I've often had the petrol till spits, but my local Tesco doesn't have a petrol station

It's a 28 mile round trip to go to the nearest Tesco with a petrol station. I have kept them and used them occasionally as I drive all over for work, but can't see many people with normal jobs and shopping locally that will go out of their way to use them.

From all accounts, it sounds like you can sell them on Ebay - never looked at this sort of stuff on there myself, but might be worth a try!

Yes they are sold on ebay - currently 14 petrol till spills for sale, some with BIN at 99p

Hi, it's not just Mondays then, but I still feel there are more till-spits issued at the beginning of a week. I'm sure we will suss out a pattern if we try! I will diarise to start a thread on Sunday as promised, for us to post our till-spill receipts for next week.

Today I got a nice one, spent just over a tenner in a small store (not a Tesco that stocks clothing) and got 250 points for spending £10 on any clothing. Glad I haven't bought anything for our hols yet, £10 should be easy to spend in the current sale (minus money-off coupons of course!).

Also found Tropicana 50-point till-spit in the car park.

BUT!!! Be warned, I got a letter from Mr T today to say that they had noticed a high number of manual points adjustments on my Clubcard. Reminded me that points are to be collected at the till, but if I have any probs (e.g. have I lost my card?!) to let them know!!!

Must start adding wombling points to a new card (or my Mum's card). I must admit I have been accumulating loads of points, always on the one card, I guess it was just a matter of time before they noticed!!:eek:
