    Hi there,

Wondered if anyone has seen this on Ebay - not strictly speaking a till spit, but sounds a cracking deal if it does work - or is it one of those - it sounds too good to be true so probably is...?

    Anyone tried this?

BUT!!! Be warned, I got a letter from Mr T today to say that they had noticed a high number of manual points adjustments on my Clubcard. Reminded me that points are to be collected at the till, but if I have any probs (e.g. have I lost my card?!) to let them know!!!

Must start adding wombling points to a new card (or my Mum's card). I must admit I have been accumulating loads of points, always on the one card, I guess it was just a matter of time before they noticed!!

I received the same letter yesterday, (drat).

It looks like a link to this website, a link to a coupon website and advice to take out a Clubcard, the Tesco Credit Card (buy lots of expensive stuff, get points & return, keeping the points)... but that could be me being overly pessimistic... =o)
  • Surely the trick in using wombled, bought or swapped named vouchers for extra points is to use your keyfob and pay in cash?;)

In a way, yes, that certainly worked for me when using some named points vouchers I had bought on eBay.

But for wombled receipts it makes no odds because the receipt is anonymous. The problem for me (and others who have over-wombled) is just the sheer volume of manually adjusted poiints which show on the one Clubcard account. Obviously I overdid it!!! :D
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi, see my post on page one of this thread, I think I was the first to get a warning letter from Tesco!

I binned it after reading it, and although no sanctions (e.g. deducting points) were mentioned, it scared me enough not to womble to the same card again. I am already worried that I may not receive the large amount of Clubcard points I am due (mostly from shopping & petrol, not wombling!). My receipts and the website says my vouchers will be sent before 10th Sept but I am still concerned until they actually arrive!

I had been wombling since around Easter, adding points more than once a week, and sometimes for silly little amounts like 5 points which may have given the game away (especially as the adjustment receipts show the original date of the receipt and Tesco can see that I had my card with me that day, from my 'legit' shopping records!).

I guess they are looking closely at excessive manual points adjustments at Tesco H/O!

I have picked up a couple more new Clubcard leaflets, think I will open one in my OH and my Son's name, and use them in rotation! I reckon you should buy your shopping with one card, and if you find a receipt to womble that is dated the same day, make sure you add the points to another card that was not used that day...if that makes sense! :o

I got the same one last week...really handy - just when I needed new shorts & t-shirts for DS2:D

There was a loose booklet in the last Tesco magazine. Booklet had a £3 voucher on back if you spent £15 on children's clothes. Worth having especially with the 250 points one.

Hatfield Branch CS won't put any extra points of any kind on clubcard . Nor money off vouchers that you forgot to give in. CSA said it's a new rule.

So watch out all you womblers!
